Relax in this peaceful cabin located on a 30 acre farm with picturesque views of the woods and farmland. Close to all the quaint river town of Grafton, IL has to offer, but removed from the crowds and the cars and the noise. You can spend your days discovering the shops, wineries, restaurants or local hunt clubs, while spending your nights stargazing or building a fire and eating s'mores. You can stay as busy, or not, as you'd like. It's truly the best of both worlds!

Melissa was an amazing and kind host with wonderful local suggestions for eats! Her cabin is a really great place to get away from the city in the winter with the beautiful decorations and very cozy fireplace. The animals around the property were so sweet!

We had everything we needed. Such a cute place and it was decorated for Christmas like a Hallmark movie. So quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful, cozy, relaxing place to get away. Super clean! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, which made it home away from home. Best place to have a country Christmas! This cabin was just what my husband and I were looking for — restful and peaceful. It’s beautifully decorated with such thoughtful touches, like a sound machine in the loft bedroom. We loved the screened-in porch and the two Great Pyrenees and goats in the barnyard across the way — we made sure to pet them each day! When it came time to leave, we did so reluctantly. And that’s a sign of a wonderful property with lovely hosts like Melissa and Jeff. Thanks to both of them for sharing their beautiful location with us!

Awesome cabin in a gorgeous setting!! Can see beautiful sunrise and sunset! Not as secluded as I would have hoped (house and cow barn right next door), but cabin was very clean and stocked.

The country cabin was awesome ! Peaceful cozy clean cabin with beautiful scenery. The host was great and very informative with everything. Cabin was clean and nicely decorated ! The bed gets 10 stars after traveling 535 miles to get there. Seeing farm life with animals was the best. We really enjoyed our stay here while in Illinois visiting family

What a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfect for us! Our host was kind, friendly and very helpful. The cabin was well-supplied. Was great to be in the country and seeing horses, cows, geese, sheep and goats. The best compliment I can give: would love to go back!

The perfect getaway

We loved this cozy cabin. The screened in porch, the loft bed, the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom- everything was perfect. We were even able to check in early . It was a hidden getaway in farmland and we loved it. Thank you so much.

Comfortable king sized bed, great screened in porch to watch sunset, dog friendly, host gave us a tour of the farm to meet the animals. Exactly what we were looking for.

Loved the farm setting. Very nice place. Tv could have been lower. Or a bigger tv for its location. But nothing to cry about. Communication was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Welcome to our place. It's always been our dream to live on a working farm and we were lucky enough to find one with a cozy cabin! We raise goats, babydoll sheep, livestock guardian dogs, and several types of specialty chickens. Our family also includes friendly horses, a spit-fire mini horse, a lovable donkey and a grouchy yet sweet house pig.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our cabin is beautifully decorated with a cozy fireplace in the living room and cathedral ceilings. The view of the farm and woods from the front porch is serene and the sunsets from the screen porch in the back are lovely. The peaceful, country setting is idyllic, while being close to so many attractions and so much to do.
