Tastefully decorated with Mexican folk art, this is a truly unique property! Located within a five minute walk from Los Olivos Grocery, it will be easy to stock the kitchen with essentials, or dine out at the many wonderful restaurants in the area and bring back and star gaze.

The home is absolutely stunning!! The hostess also provided us with complimentary wine, which was very sweet! The hostess was attentive and kind. I definitely want to go back!

Fantastic location on a beautiful vineyard. The master bedroom had incredible views from wrap around windows. Kitchen well equipped, but pantry essentials limited. Only complaint is the overly soft and unsupportive mattresses and pillows in the bedrooms. Overall would definitely stay again.

Weekend trip to los Olivos area. Perfect location. Quiet with nice outdoor space. Nice kitchen. Definitely planning to return.

Casa at Brander

Place was great and very understated, but comfortable and beautiful view. Stay there without a town family to attend, daughters wedding, walking distance to Brander vineyards with free tasting was nice. Everything went well, you won’t be disappointed.

Three couples in their 80s. Friends for over 60 years. Overall had a great time. Loved Los Olivos. Disappointed in Master Bath, no shower (noted in description of house) and tub would not hold water, used other couples shower (not good). Sink in downstairs bathroom - stopper plunger missing had to go under basin to let water out. Missing items in Kitchen. The cat was very friendly.

Fred Brander, the owner, planted the first grapes in 1975. He has since been producing first-class wine since 1977. While this property, The Hilltop House, was just acquired 3 years ago, it is adjacent to the Brander Vineyard and has the views and the feeling of being in a working vineyard. Fred has also planted a crop of agaves that will be producing Mezcal and Agave liquors in a few more years. He is also an avid collector of Mexican Folk Art that he bring s back from his many trips to all areas of Mexico. The entire house has the feeling and beauty of a Mexican Hacienda.

This property is very rural, quiet, and very private. The Brander tasting room is available for guest's to enjoy during working hours while staying at the property. The town of Los Olivos is within one mile distance to the center of town, and Solvang is accessible by car, or for the more avid bicyclists it is a nice ride from the property 6.4 miles.
