I rarely feel like we got more than we paid for when we rent vacation homes, but that’s exactly what we experienced here. From extra bags of ice in the 2nd freezer to vegetables in the garden we were allowed to use for dinner, this was a rental that provided an amazing experience. This place has quickly made to a top spot on our list.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family trip to this property. We had a group of 10 from 4 years old to 69 and everyone appreciated the endless amenities, the cleanliness and the incredible location of this property. We celebrated our last dinner out in the Vineyard at sunset. I would highly recommend this property!

Lovely basecamp for Santa Ynez adventures. We attended a wedding at Alisal Ranch and Casa Calzada was perfect. Pool was nice, although it costs extra to heat it (I think we should have backed-off the temp a bit as it got a wee bit warm, but the kids liked it). The upstairs loft got hot for the kids, so more ventilation that can be locally controlled in that room would be good - think mini split AC unit). Hot tub, game room were big hits! Kitchen was very good as was BBQ and other bedroom were very comfortable with the Master being terrific (walk in closet was great).

Great getaway!

We stayed here for a wedding in the Santa Ynez area and it was PERFECT! A 5 minute drive to anywhere we wanted, but also the property had the most amazing outdoor space so we had the greatest time relaxing by the pool and sitting in the sun or the shade.

Great Thanksgiving retreat!

Our family group loved staying here for Thanksgiving! We had lots of space to relax in and do different activities both inside and outside the hacienda! The kitchen was super well-equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and everyone enjoyed the relaxing outdoor spaces, games, and views. We will definitely be back if we're staying in the area!
