The "Blue Roof House", just a 1/2 block to Lewes Beach!

Located just off peaceful Lewes Beach, this quintessential beach house features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower. This beauty is only a HALF BLOCK from one of the Eastern Shore's nicest beaches. Ride your bikes or take a leisurely stroll to the shops and restaurants of downtown Lewes. Relax on one of the many decks and screened in porches while the kids play ping pong in the finished garage, the perfect hangout for teens. Ample parking is available in the driveway and on the street. You will find a WELL equipped kitchen, a large kitchen table and seating at the breakfast bar as well as ample outdoor seating. Lewes is a beautiful town with plenty to do year round. It is a quaint town full of New England Colonial architecture and made for walking. We are ready to welcome you and your family or friends for the perfect beach vacation. You will surely love Lewes as much as we do!
NOTE: We rent year round with a 3 night minimum in the off season and a 7 night minimum in the summer.

House was such an awesome stay. Fantastic location near the bayside beach - great for small kids - and close to Cape Henlopen - good for big kids. Great beds/mattresses, well-stocked kitchen, amazing screened-in porch, and a lovely outdoor shower. Would definitely come back.

This was a perfect place for a family stay with two young grandchildren. The weather was very pleasant. The location to the beach was ideal. We really liked to fact that it was near the end of a dead end street with very little traffic which made it safer for the young kids. The place had plenty of room and was very very clean. We particularly enjoyed the screened in front porch. It was a great place for the kids to play. There were plenty of beach, accessories, including beach, chairs, and towels. We look forward to staying here again for any of our future visits to Lewes.

We had a wonderful week at the Blue Roof house! We loved the two big porches and enjoyed having ice cream while watching the sunsets in the evening on the rooftop patio! All the beach supplies were amazing (plenty of big beach towels, huge wagon, chairs, beach toys, etc) The beds were so comfortable and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of bowls, plates, nice big coffee mugs, etc. Every morning we filled the beach wagon and took a less than five minute walk to the beach. Our grandchildren (ages 4 and 1) loved the beach and having plenty of space to play on the front porch and living room. The host was great with communication, and we would definitely stay here again. There were seven of us and we had more than enough space!! Highly recommend!

Everything appeared to be brand new and we tried to keep it looking that way. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could imagine. The screened porches were very comfortable for outdoor seating and relaxing. There is a long table indoors for meals or puzzles, and another long table on one of the porches where we had our meals. For indoor entertainment there were games, puzzles, books, and a ping pong table in the finished garage. It's always nice to be able to walk to the beach!

My family and I had a great time last week! The house has everything that is needed for a great time at the beach and is in a great location. My kids also loved having a backyard area so that they could play in the evening.

Lovely and well-stocked beach house

We had a fabulous stay at the blue roof house. It is one of the best furnished rentals we’ve ever been in. There are many details that make it family friendly as well. The host is super responsive and thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We loved all of the outdoor spaces -- beautiful sunsets from the rooftop deck, two screened in porches to sit and read -- all very comfortable and spacious. Close walk to the beach. Really helpful to have two master suites.

Blue Roof was perfect

We loved this property. It's quiet and located near the beach. The owner has really thought through everything that one could want in a house. It's very well cared for and has the perfect layout for relaxing. We loved it!

You will fall in love with the spacious porches and our proximity to the beach. We provide beach chairs and a cart to make your half block walk even easier! The garage is finished with a ping pong table, a great hangout for kids, teens, or even the adults. And the screened porches and decks are a great spot to enjoy the ocean breeze and to relax with a drink or a good book.
