We stayed in this charming house for UCSB graduation weekend. It was perfect for two sets of grandparents and the proud parents of a Gaucho! The house is completely stocked with anything you may need...from cooking to bathrooms to light entertaining. The grounds are amazing! So many nooks and crannies to explore and enjoy. Ideal property, exactly as described

We were in Santa Barbara for a family wedding and this house was the perfect “stay”!! Why pay thousands for multiple hotel rooms when you can all stay together for so much less? 3 bedroom, 2 bath VERY cute house in a quiet neighborhood. We all wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the outside seating, patio, and fire pit! We’ll be back!

Enjoyed a weekend wedding

Bob was the best. He was easy to communicate with. Even helped us with a Tv Streaming question at 10pm! The home was well stocked. Lots of fabulous sitting areas in the gardens. Easy drive down to retail, restaurants and the freeway. We had a great stay!

Amazing house and gracious hosts

We stayed here for the holidays this year with our family and three dogs. The beautiful house and yard were a wonderful place for us to celebrate this year. While the yard was not fully fenced it’s enclosed enough for our pups. We also really enjoyed spending evenings outside around the fire pit. Not only that, but the hosts were extremely helpful when we had a medical emergency that required us to extend our stay. They were great communicators and extremely understanding and helpful with our situation. Could not recommend it enough! Thanks again!

Great home on a big, beautiful property. Amazing views, kind and accommodating hosts!

This home was a great setting for my family to get away from the cold northern winter and relax. Everything from the setting (a large property with lots of fruit trees and mountain views) to the home (unique architecture, modern kitchen, big bedrooms) to the Bob & family's hospitality (lots of baby/toddler gear is available, quick response when we had an issue with the wifi lock) was wonderful. It is really a stunning yard with lots of seating areas and expansive views of the mountains. We had a great time taking our toddler out each morning to check for passion fruit, limes, lemons, and oranges. The property feels secluded and rural but it is less than 5 minutes from shopping malls and the 101, less than 10 minutes from the airport. I worked for half our time in the home and had a good set up in the alcove. We would visit again and hopefully we will be able to do so!

Typically, we look to stay at places that have good access to local sights, activities, restaurants, etc...with walking opportunities.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We found this property in early 2022 and felt it was a unique place...with lots of European charm in and out. The home is on 1/2 acre in a rural residential area providing a sense of privacy, nice views of the Santa Barbara foothills.
While a country setting, it is close to a few retail/restaurant/shopping areas for most anything that you would need.
Property is located 0.5 miles up the hill above Cathedral Oaks Road, which is the 'quiet' east/west corridor with bike lanes connecting to Foothill road...and onto downtown Santa Barbara
-1.5 miles from Foothill off/on ramps to Hwy 101 NOTE: Santa Barbara County Tax for Short Term Rentals: -For stays of less than 31 days, there is a Santa Barbara County Tax required to be collected. VRBO settings include this tax. -If you desire a stay of 31 days or more, this DOES NOT require this tax, and an adjustment will be made at booking if this 12% tax is somehow included in the VRBO pricing calculations. Thanks.
