Great Apartment for a Quiet/Relaxing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet and relaxing location. The apartment was well maintained, clean and had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were extremely gracious and answered all questions in a timely manner. They also provided a video to show how to get to the apartment and provided recommendations for places to visit, dine and shop.

Amazing holiday

It was always a wish of mine to stay at Fort Chambray. Beautiful property with gorgeous views. The apartment was amazing. Clean, and well furnished and stocked for all your needs. Our hosts were so friendly from the day of booking and I know I will reach out to them for future visits.

It doesn’t get any better that this. Outstanding communication with Mariella the host. The place is 5 mins from the ferry, totally secure. Easy checking process. Spacious apartment and the pool is massive, the photos don’t do it justice. I can’t recommend this place enough. Breath taking views, great history and relaxing.

Quiet, beautiful apartment near Historical buildings and a large pool.

Lovely apartment, clean, well-decorated with all the needed amenities. The Fort itself, is an amazing space, quiet, mixing historical buildings with the clean-cut residential properties and the excellent, large pool. Views are of the Knights Barracks, i.e. on shady side of the apartments - but in this summer's heat it was a real advantage to not have direct fierce sunlight. Mariella supported our stay very well with friendly WhatsApp messages giving us the essential information & suggestions for days out.

Apartment was very nice. The fort is mostly a disaster area. No renovations have been done for 30 years. A new developer has come forward with another plan so it will be interesting if it ever happens. Pool is enormous. I was the only one in it but we were here early May. Eat at Rexys. Great food. We only had their pizzas and dessert. Area is isolated so Bolt will be required to get to other restaurants. Near Mgarr harbour. I would recommend the island and even the Fort if you desire privacy.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Ghajnsielem is well known for its lively main square; a place where most of the village congregates during the warm summer nights or head down to the harbour for a cozy meal during the mild short winters.
The village is very self-sufficient, with two major supermarkets, various small groceries / corner shops, post office, gym, two pharmacies and a choice of amazing restaurants and bars. It is also located on the main bus link to the capital city of Victoria and a short walk away from the harbor where more restaurants and bars can be found as well as the ferry link to the main island of Malta and water taxis to the smaller island of Comino.

One could easily discover and appreciate what this lovely island has to offer by bus...which station is just outside Fort Chambray, on foot, by boat or ferry.
