The Yellow Door - West Side Norman Retreat & Pool

This modern, Palm Springs-inspired decorated home is located in West Norman. Relax in your very own private oasis. In the summer, sip on a drink while lounging poolside, or in cooler months enjoy conversation around the fire pit. Enjoy coffee in the mornings on the private back patio. The west side location is hard to beat; with easy access to I-35 and lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. This home was recently fully remodeled with a fun twist on modern that we are sure you will enjoy!

The space
From the moment you pull up, you'll be greeted with a fun and modern design. Our namesake, "The Yellow Door" is a fun twist on the warm modern design. Once you enter you'll see through the living room and out to the backyard where the pool, patio, and fire pit will be calling out, even in months when the pool is closed. As you enter the house notice the bright, airy, and fully equipped kitchen, perfect for making meals for a group.

The dining room has a unique design with tons of natural light. The living room has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, perfect for staying warm on cool nights, as well as a coffee and tea bar for your morning brew.

The master bedroom features a private bath and king size memory foam mattress. The other two bedrooms have queen-size memory foam mattresses and share a hall bathroom. The home comes equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.

We have free WiFi internet and Smart TV for your viewing preferences, or unplug and sun bathe on the pool side.

IMPORTANT: There is NO Life Guard on duty. There is NO fence between the backdoor and the pool, nor is there a fence around the pool, other than the perimeter fence for the entire yard. DO NOT leave any children or pets unattended. Any persons renting the property are responsible for using the pool safely and appropriately. There is no hot tub.

*Pool will be closed from mid-September and re-opened at the beginning of April.
*Garage and master closet are Owners and are not accessible to guests.

NO MORE THAN THE 8 GUESTS STAYING ALLOWED ON MY PROPERTY!
We have a pool camera and a noise meter in place.
The neighborhood is a quiet one, so please be respectful of noise levels.
This is a peaceful getaway, NOT a party house!

Fireplace
The fireplace is a gas-lit fireplace, please do not burn anything in the fireplace!

Guest access
Check In and Check Out
We do NOT accommodate Early Check In's or Late Check Outs. This policy is in place to protect our Sanitation Team's time in readily preparing and sanitizing the cabin in order to provide you and our next guests with a safe, clean, and suitable space. Thank you for your understanding.
Breaching this policy with an unauthorized Early Check In's and/or Late Check Out's will result in extra fees.

Other things to note
Pets
We invite up to two (2) potty trained dogs to accompany you. Please let us know that your furry friends will be joining you!
We ask that you kindly clean up after your dogs in the yard. Complimentary dog waste bags are provided for easy clean up.
We also ask that dogs are kept off of the furniture to guard against accidental scratching. Please be aware, any damages caused by pets are 100% the responsibility of the guests.

COVID19 and Flu Season
In the wake of COVID19 and its variants, if during your stay you or one of your group members begin to experience symptoms of COVID19 or the seasonal flu, we ask that you simply send us a courtesy message prior to your Check Out. This will allow us to make our Sanitation Team aware in order to carry out special COVID19 sanitation protocol, as well as protect themselves from exposure while carrying out their duties. We truly appreciate your willingness to cooperate within this policy! Safety is of upmost importance to us!
