Five Star Accommodations!!

This cabin is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend at the lake!! The cabin was large enough to accommodate our 10 person group with room to spare. Beautiful views of Sand Lake greet you around every corner. It’s cozy and very clean. Already recommending this place to friends and family

Wedding weekend

We had a wedding a nearby establishment and this place was absolutely amazing. We had children and adults staying here. If we had questions we got immediate answers. It was the perfect place and very clean! So nice to be right on the lake with a great deck that overlooks it.

Pine Lake

Our group on six adults and five children, had a great week! The premises were clean, well appointed and in good repair. There was a great selection of outdoor furnishings, a convenient firepit, and beach and water equipment including floats and kayaks. Water was clear and beach front clean. Thanks!

Fantastic cabin!

This place was perfect for our stay! We had a group of 10 friends and it worked great for everyone. It was a very comfortable cabin and we really enjoyed all the open space our group could spend together, both indoor and outdoor. It was very well stocked with everything we needed and the host was responsive when we had questions prior to our booking. Check in and out were easy as well. The dock and beach were enjoyed by all and having the golf course on lake was a perk as! We will definitely be coming back next year!

2 family snowmobile trip

The house was very nice, very clean and was everything that was described. The large circle drive made it easy to park two truck and trailers. We were able to drive the snowmobiles about 3 blocks and get on the main snowmobile trail. This house works perfect for a “home base” for a snowmobile trip!

Great Lake home - close to the trails!

Great place for our snowmobile trip with 8 adults, everyone had a bed and nice open kitchen/dining/living space for hanging out at the end of the day. Plenty of parking for 3 crew cab trucks and large enclosed trailers with drive in-drive out loop driveway. Snow was cleared when we arrived, we had plenty of space in the sunroom for all of our gear/coolers and a place to suit-up in the morning. Short half-mile ride to the trail via the lake or roadside. Host was great and kept in touch with us. We would definitely go back!

Great Family Vacation Cabin!

Absolute perfect place for a vacation at the lake. Sandy beach with beach toys, kayaks and a paddle board, made for lots of lake fun. There is good size lawn for running around with a soccer ball or a game of bocce ball (we brought our own). The cabin is very nicely done with everything you need and a view of the lake from multiple rooms. We spent time on the deck, hung out in the lovely screen porch in the rain, and had campfires in the evening. Games, toys and books for the kids. Comfy couches and beds. We didn't want to leave! Easy check in, good communication with host. We will be back!!!

A hidden gem

It was wonderful. This place has everything you need. We packed extra lawn chairs for down by the water and to our surprise found lots of chairs in the shed! The kids loved all the lake toys and yard games. We had 3 families stay there. 5 adults and 4 kids It was so spacious and clean. We all said, "we wish this was our house" The location is beautiful and peaceful. It's only a 5 min drive from town. Moose lake has a great grocery store and gift shop. You can't catch lots of little sunnies right off the dock. The kids were so excited that they caught so many. We booked it again for next year but this time for longer! Highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Great Family Lake Vacation

Our stay on Sand Lake was wonderful! This was a family vacation with three generations ranging in age from 2-60 years. The cabin was just as described, with multiple areas for larger groups to gather, and enough spots to move to get some privacy. We spent lots of outdoor time on the deck or by the fire pit, and the firewood provided was plentiful. There were several grassy areas to play outdoor games, and the lake was clear and beautiful. I've spent many past summer weeks at Northern Wisconsin or Minnesota family lake cabins, and a good lake is important to me. This cabin is set on a larger, treed lot, back from the road, so it seems quite private. We rented a pontoon from the resort on the lake and spent two of our days swimming, floating and fishing. The lily pad provided by our hosts was great to have, as were all of the life jackets hanging in the boathouse. We also had a group go golfing at the Moose Lake Golf Club, just around the corner. This would not be a cabin for those who don't do stairs, as there is a decent set to get down to lake level. I would definitely recommend this cabin to those interested in the Northern Lake Vacation feel, who don't want to make the long, 3+ hour drive from the Twin Cities. Our family hopes to return in the future.
