The Cabins at Lexington is the perfect all-season destination. Located on a private, wooded hillside in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the Cabins are only minutes from historic downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, the Virginia Horse Center and many wedding venues. Our cabins are professionally cleaned per visit. Although pet friendly, pet fees apply. (See house rules for details). This cabin is equipped with external video surveillance only.

Beautiful setting and spacious home

So close to town but so private and serene. Lots of wildlife viewing! The cabin is very well appointed and so spacious! They have everything you could need and more! Hosts are very easy to work with as well

Family Christmas stay in Lexington

We had a great stay, the property was great, spacious for large families and met all of our needs, especially great as we prefer to travel with our dogs and the property and the host were very dog friendly. This was our first visit to the Lexington area and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and hope to.

Comfy and close

The cabin was comfy and had lot's of space! It's super convenient and close to town but has the feel of being out a bit. Suited our needs perfectly.

Best Place for a group

We had a wonderful Parents Weekend! The cabin has comfortable beds and plenty of space! Well stocked kitchen. Will be staying again!

Excellent for large groups

We stayed at the cabins during a horseshow at the Virginia Hose Center. The cabins were very conveniently located to the horse center, and very clean and spacious. A great alternative to the hotels!

Wonderful Reunion with Friends in Lexington

We had an incredible time staying with friends in Lexington. The property was located in a wonderful spot, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The water pressure is a little low, but that is to be expected in a cabin setting. The area is rustic, so be prepared to see wildlife and hear lots of morning birds. We can't wait to visit again!

Great Location,

When I arrived at 5:30 to the house, the beds were not made and the house had not been cleaned. I had to call the contact and she had to figure out what was going on but offered me another house that was *almost clean. I was able to get into the different house later that evening and it was clean and nice although not at all what i would have picked. The well was broken at the other house and there was no water. I was given an 25% discount for the trouble and the woman was responsive and very kind. Not good communication with their cleaning team given I had to let property manager know 2.5 hours after check-in about the problem. Frustrating but overall ended up being fine.

The host is a bit overbearing, with text and emails. We have stayed at multiple rentals and like to be left alone.Amenities, 1) Washer-dryer unit by the kitchen table DOES NOT have a door, very load.2) Coffee maker which is an easy fix does NOT work, doesn't brew, huge problem for equestrians and guests3) Drain in bathrooms upstairs were disgusting. We bought draino and cleaned.Rest of the house was fine. Would recommend keyless entry.Thanks, Hilary Keller 804-592-7160

Although there's no shortage of lodging in Rockbridge County, The Cabins is not only perfect for 1-12 guests for any occasion, business trip, sporting event, wedding party, etc, you'll have peace and serenity being surrounded by trees, although minutes from downtown. After being student housing for numerous years then converted to short term rentals, there's plenty of history to keep families revisiting year after year.
