Great Little Apartment

Extremely affordable and worth every penny . Kitchen and bath are especially renovated well . I particularly appreciated the straightforward and easy entry systems on all doors . It’s no small thing to get into some of these places and this while secure is a breeze !

It was difficult to find the code to get into the door into the complex, this seems to be a vrbo only issue after talking to the property manager, the kitchen could of been stocked with more kitchen items. Maybe a larger TV for the space Other than that it was a decent and affordable place and not a bad location.

Did not stay

Located in a bad area. After arriving we noticed the bedroom window was left completely open with a broken lock, which made it impossible to close. We left and booked a hotel.

Not a bad spot

I could complain about the small things but I also look at what I get for the price in a very quiet area. You're basically surrounded by small town USA, very picturesque in a historic Swiss avenue. Yes there are some areas a few blocks away that can be a little sketchy but it is what it is. You incorporate the price for full apartments, washer dryer, full kitchen with an island, and there's almost really nothing to complain about. The only complaint I had was the TVs did not work for the weekend but the host brought me batteries for the remotes but it did not fix the issue. I noted they were Roku TVs and did not want to make any adjustments. Beyond that the state was nice quiet and pleasant.

A Nice Little Spot

Overall I would stay here again and would recommend the stay. Especially for solo travelers, young travelers, women - not for anyone who would struggle/need help with a very heavy gate. We were in town on a business trip and appreciated the clean, relatively quiet apartment. It was probably one of the cleanest short term rentals I have stayed at. The building was easy to identify and had plenty of on site parking. It seems like the entire building of 8-10 apartments is made up of short term rentals (the cleaning crew will start asking if you are out by 10:15 am, so either be out early or be aware that you will be watched like a hawk while loading up and leaving. They were not rude about it, but we still felt closely monitored). There was a gate to get inside the "courtyard" (there was a hiccup from not having that outside gate code, VRBO put it near the bottom of a generic "your trip is coming up" email, and the host did not have it/would not share it when we finally made it in around 10:30 pm) that gave a little more overall security. Was slightly confused about a $5 linens fee when I had only asked if there was bedding for the pull out couch (there was). I had not requested extra linens. Confused even more when we arrived and there was only one kitchen towel, no wash cloths or other dish cleaning scrubbers, let alone something that might be considered "extra".
