Serendipity by the Sea is a beautiful vacation rental located in the with a private gated community of Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City, Oregon. The open-plan living space and wall-to-wall windows allow for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the Haystack Rock. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms this spacious house can accommodate up to 8 guests and two dogs. This home features a fully stocked kitchen, hardwood floors and a patio leading straight onto the sand. Come see what adventures await you at Serendipity by the Sea!

The open-plan living space includes a living room with cozy sofas and a gas fireplace, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with a beautiful hardwood island. The living room also features a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. Serendipity is a one-level home – no pesky stairs to climb up and down! The primary bedroom features a king-size bed and a full bath with an ocean view that is the perfect place to lounge in the jetted tub. This home also features a guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed as well as a kid's room that houses four twin bunk beds. A full bathroom is also located in the hallway.

Around the back of the house, there is a large oceanfront patio. Also provided is a pickleball net and paddles and court markers for use in the driveway and a beach volleyball game called Crossnet. This is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset after a long day of playing on the beach!

Maximum Occupancy for this property, including adults, children and infants is 10
Occupancy limits cannot be exceeded at any time, including visitors.
Please be aware that during storm season the sand dunes in front of the home may rise and obscure or partially obscure the view.

Please note that boats, trailers, and RVs are unfortunately not permitted.

The space and location were excellent. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and kitchen utensils. The TV and electric fireplace worked great as did the jacuzzi tub. The hot tub did not work during our stay, and that was communicated to us before our arrival. There was a large windblown sand dune obstructing the ocean view, however on our second morning someone came by and removed that sand so we had a view. Two issues. One bench and the dining table is too unstable to sit on. And the smoke detector kept going off sporadically so we had to remove the battery.

We had a lovely stay overall - just a couple items! The master bath toilet seems to be leaking? The bathroom smelled of sewer the entire stay so not sure if there’s a plumbing issue? Also the fan switch in master bath is no functional. We had about 7 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults and 3 children for 4 days,and didn’t realize there wasn’t additional in home. Only one paper towel roll was supplied. No dishsoap either. Maybe include in the reservation email a blip -if staying more than 2 days bring additional toiletry items or what you’re willing to supply.

The beach view was spectacular, beach access was perfect. The weather was amazing The hot tub on the deck was our favorite. There was no salt in the kitchen so we supplied the house with a few things to help the future guests.

Beachfront beauty

Photos and description are accurate - Pacific city gets better every year - house was immaculate and beautiful, access to the beach does not get any better - thank you! I will be booking this house again. I didn’t bring my dog this time, but it’s pet friendly which is a bonus.

Great Location

Overall, very nice location and right on the beach. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the sand build up due to the winds. We were unable to use the hot tub, or the deck because it was covered in sand, drifting sand. Reminded me of snowdrifts, but only with sand. Could not see out the windows when we first got there because the sand had completely covered the windows. Got out the next morning and found a hose buried under about a foot of sand and rinsed the windows off. The sand came back, but it rained so hard it finally rinsed the windows off so we had a decent view at least for one day. Never actually seen such large drifts around houses before. But, the home itself was very nice inside. Clean and nice furniture. Wi-Fi worked well. Nice area, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Liked the area quite well.

Do Not Stay Here

We arrived to this place during one of the worst storms in years. There were 70mph winds blowing sand everywhere. Because of this, everyone staying here got covered in sand, and the doors / windows / house all got completely covered in the sand as well.We enjoyed our stay over the next couple days, and being able to walk right onto the beach was incredible.Unfortunately that’s about all the positive I can say.The company managing this property has since charged me hundreds of dollars to replace multiple items in the house because they claimed they were “destroyed”, despite there own photos and captions sent to me saying nothing more than sand was found on them. They also have blamed us for at least two things maintenance workers were responsible for, not us. (leaving a door open / not flushing a toilet).Additionally, the hot tub was never made useable during our stay, despite the company communicating with us each day that it would be. The home is beautiful and in a great location, but the management company is dishonest and will try to exploit you for as much money as they can. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Right on the waves

The house was in the perfect location to be able to sit in the hot tub and watch the ocean. Unfortunately, I had to call the property management company to get the lock code for the hot tub because it was not provided in the instructions. The house was clean and tidy, but could use updating.

Love the Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was there was no shade in the guest bedroom and I had to put a blanket over the window for privacy. Otherwise it was good.

The property had everything we needed including a great location. We all had age appropriate activities for the youngest one at 10 yrs. old to the oldest at 79. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

House and Pacific City is amazing

My family had a great spring break trip here. The house was well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. The views were incredible and we spent so much time outside. The only downfall here was the hot tub was out of order, the refrigerator was a bit dirty and there was no cleaning supplies for us to clean it and we think the master toilet was leaking. Regardless of the minor inconveniences, it was perfect! I would definitely come back here and already trying to plan my next trip.
