We needed a place to stay for one night while passing through the wine trail. This place was perfect for our needs and a great location for several local wineries.

Charming, Well-Appointed, Cozy Stay

These folks have done a superb job of making a small space provide everything you need. Our "container" was very well decorated with a bit of a vintage look, super clean, and comfortable. Better than staying in a hotel, very quiet and with a great view of the meadows in the background. We will stay here again!

Better than expected!

Yo be honest I was a little reluctant to stay in a container but the experience was very pleasant. At a great price, the place is just what you need to spend the night. The location is amazing, just in the middle of everything if your winery hopping. A good variety of places to have dinner/breakfast nearby and the communication with the host was very easy.

Perfect!

This property is prettier in person! Perfect for 1–2 people. View out back is gorgeous. I would stay here again. It’s close to Fredericksburg and surrounding towns in the Hill Country! Check out Mucho Food truck park in Fredericksburg!

Very clean and well maintained; great location for the Hill Country. I’d give it 5 stars but for the outdoor space: uneven rocks with irregular slabs, a sprained ankle waiting to happen especially at night.

Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I had a great time at the Container Retreat! The container was perfect . . . we even enjoyed a little charcuterie for dinner on our little table and chairs outside. Very nice!

Great spot!

Great little spot! We enjoyed it very much. Would definitely like to see more lighting though. At night it was pitch black around the property so it was kind of hard to enjoy sitting outside after 6pm.

Great concept. Really a smaller container more like hotel room. Very adequate for 1-3 day stay. Kitchen area really setup for minimal cooking. Really close to all wineries. A short 16 mile driveway Fredericksburg.

Cozy Retreat right in the middle of Wine Country!

Very cozy retreat that offers quick access to wineries from Johnson City to Fredericksburg. We had an issue with our lock that was resolved in no time, thanks to the quick response of the owner. I would recommend if you are like my wife and I who are always on the go, checking out the wine and views. Just looking for a quite spot to rest.
