Une propriété Camp ~ Unique Oceanfront

Tu te souviens quand tu étais enfant et que tu partais en colonie de vacances? Remontez dans le temps dans ce charmant lieu de vacances en famille en front de mer, sur 2 hectares isolés. Des kilomètres de plage sablonneuse se trouvent juste en dehors des cabines pour explorer, surfer, flâner, pilonner, faire des châteaux de sable et d'excellents forts en bois flotté. Une promenade de 3 km sur la plage jusqu'à Yachats (à marée basse) vous permettra de rejoindre le sentier 804 qui longe les rochers à Yachats. Partez en randonnée ou en voiture à travers les forêts anciennes de cèdres jusqu'au cap Perpetua, le point le plus haut de la côte de l'Oregon, accessible en voiture. Venez profiter de cette expérience de camping de style chalet unique qui plaira à tous les membres de la famille.




Cabine principale (Bait House): Cuisine entièrement équipée comprenant un réfrigérateur, une cuisinière, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière / moulin, une batterie de cuisine et des ustensiles. Longues couchettes doubles pour 4 personnes, salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes, télévision par câble / DVD, poêle à bois.
La cabine Taj Mahal: 2 lits doubles, kitchenette avec petit réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, cafetière et plaque chauffante. Table avec des sièges pour 2, salle de bain WC uniquement.
Star Cabin: (comme une yourte) 2 lits simples.
Zone de cuisine extérieure: comptoir de bar avec tabourets, évier, barbecue à gaz et barbecue au charbon de bois, idéal pour les crabes, les palourdes et les huîtres / barbecues.
Nomad: lit king demi-bain.
Cabine Nip and Tuck: 2 lits doubles, coin salon.
La tente: 2 lits simples, bureau avec chaise.
La cabine de bain: salle de bain complète avec douche / baignoire, 2 lavabos séparés et toilettes fermées.
Hangar à linge: Laveuse / sécheuse située juste à côté de la cabine principale.
2 foyers pour faire des smores ou simplement profiter des feux de camp. 1 est situé près de la cuisine extérieure et le second est situé entre la cabine Nomad et le Nip and Tuck. 2 accès à la plage différents situés dans les mêmes zones que les foyers.
Un bain à remous unique, idéal pour se détendre après une journée à la plage.
1/4 sauna à vin parfait pour 2 personnes, assis derrière la cabine de bain et à côté d'une douche extérieure privée avec eau chaude et froide.

It seemed cleaner this stay than previous stays, which I appreciate. The mold and mildew will continue to be ongoing issues until the long wet winters are somehow addressed, but all in all, my family looks forward to getting together here every year.

The hot tub was perfect...the sauna even better. AND! The beach access is the best you can possibly find. You pretty much have you’re own beach. The main cabin has everything you need to cook an amazing meal for you friends and family. The best. We will be back for sure.

What Happened to Camp One?

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 4th time staying at Camp One and it was incredibly sad to see it become such a state of disrepair. 3 out of the 5 cabins leaked from their roofs. 1 of which had major staining on the bedsheets, and of which the bed was still wet from it. The other building had a laundry basket set under the leak which told us someone knew of the leak, but hadn't fixed it beforehand. Like most laundry baskets, this had holes all along it, and water was already filled to the firat hole, and pouring out onto the floor. The leak was also bigger than where the laundry basket was set. The water had clearly been in the basket for some time as well.In all the leaky cabins, there was a strong odor of mold, and we couldn't stay in them. I tried to the one night and woke up not being able to breath well.This was far from unacceptable, and the property company shouldn't be renting it to people before addressing these concerns. The sauna use to work, now it doesn't, and the building are becoming decrepit. Instead, they've increased the price and offered me $100 back as compensation yo the $900 we spent. So sad to become a sham.I wish I could upload pictures, I guess I will on Google reviews

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVE camp one. My family has been going there for over twenty years.And it's a very special tradition for us every october. It has everything you need to accommodate a large group or even a small group. We have a few suggestion after many years at this spot. I would suggest to clean up the exposed nails. Especially on the top of bunk in the Bait house. Our kids often get snagged on them. It would be nice to have the cobwebs cleaned out of the inside. A little more lighting outside would be nice as well. And last, the toilets are pretty small and loaded the ground. It would be nice to have something updated.We love the rusticness and everything about this spot.We'll be coming back for many years to come as long as it is available

We love the re-purposing to create cabins and play areas, the easy access to the beach. Several families have been able to rent cabins close enough to walk on the beach and join us at Camp One which has provided extensive family to be able to participate. We remain so grateful to be able to be at camp one every year and Ocean Odyssey has always been professional, cooperative and responsive.

Fantastic beach access and privacy but close to town if you forgot something or just want to go out. Love the hot tub! (FYI the kitchen now includes a margarita blender since I took mine and forgot it there, enjoy :)

Reviewer Comments: I would feel more comfortable speaking to the homeowners directly. Professionally speaking, I feel there are some minor investments that could be made to make this property shine. I spent a few hours the morning before my guests arrived cozying up the spaces. I felt that requesting $200 per guest was steep considering the condition of the cabins. -if the homeowners would like my feedback, I would encourage them to contact me directly. I would love to help them make this place even more dreamy. Other than that, we love Camp One as a family. This is our second time staying here and have it booked again next summer. It works for us, but it may not for others.

This place is special.From the privacy the cabins provide, to the communal gathering in the lodge, to the canopy which protects from the wind, to the amazing sunsets mere steps away...Camp one rules. Only complaints: The lodge could use a new oven :) the one there currently struggles to maintain heat well...we’ve also wished the sauna would be repaired for the last few years!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a great time at camp one, and it has become a site of Intentional retreat for our friend group for multiple years now. I think this was our fifth time going. It’s got magic. Easily one of the most charming and affordable beach homes I’ve ever stayed in. The appliances are old, the heaters don’t always work, and the electricity can be very spotty...but it kind of adds to the rustic nature that my friends and I have come to cherish. Thank you camp one for being there when we need a place to remind us what is truly important in life.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've stayed at Camp One for a family reunion. It's such a beautiful location, and having all the separate outbuilding makes it a more comfortable stay for everyone. Now remember, this is more "Camp" than "Hotel" so as long as those are part of your expectations, you'll be fine. Most of the building need aired out right when you get there. Kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of blankets and towels and hot water. We didn't really need the heat on, but many of the space heaters were not functional. The new hot tub was most welcome! Can't beat the location and price for a big group.

The location is great and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms and hot tub. The "bungalows" could use some updating, they were really musty/moldy upon arrival and the driveway(s) could use some gravel or leveling. Very muddy.
