Beautiful!

Great property, very clean and had just about everything you needed. Great location and very close to grocery stores& Aurora farms. The pond was beautiful and the place was great perfect for 2 but also extra room ! Would definitely stay again and recommend for a nice serene getaway

Nice, comfy place

The place was clean and nice. It’s connected to another cabin, but very quiet. Nice hot tub and screened in porch. I stayed her with my nephew and his friend to celebrate his college graduation- he really enjoy his visit, and was able to relax. Mission accomplished

Pleasantly surprised!!!

We chose a last minute get away and wanted to stay close to home, our requirements were two bedrooms, privacy, and a hot tub! The pictures of the property were nice but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! The cabin was updated, clean, comfortable, on a beautiful pond and we had the best 4 day getaway and only 40 minutes from home! Definitely recommend!!!!

As you know, we have tried reaching out to you several times to discuss your review "beware of bed bugs". While we were not contacted once during your five (5) day visit stay at the premises, immediately following the posting of your review, we contracted with a professional exterminating company for the purpose of inspecting the premises and terminating any insect infestation, specifically bed bugs. The results of the inspection showed zero (0) insect infestation and zero (0) bed bugs. Please note that since your visit to our property, we have hosted four (4) reservations, none of which lodged a complaint, let alone reported an issue related to insects or bed bugs. Please know that, throughout the years, in an effort to grow our small family business, we have every taken every measure to ensure our guests have nothing short of an amazing experience when staying at our properties. Reviews of each property, and our reputation of us as hosts, are critical to our success. One short review made with or without proof, or made with or without malice, can severely impact the years of hard work and successful growth we are so grateful and proud to have achieved. As the owner/host of a short-term rental property yourself, I can only assume that you are fully aware of this and cognizant of the damage your review can cause. To that end, we would greatly like to the opportunity to discuss this matter with you and would appreciate the courtesy of returning our calls.

Getaway

The place was clean and I thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It was unclear in the listing that this was connected to another unit and I was glad that it was not rented at the time of our stay. There was construction happening the first two days of our stay, but as we were prepping for my best friend's wedding, it wasn't really an issue. The construction crew was super nice. If I was ever planning a getaway in that area on the future, I would definitely consider this place again, hopefully if the other side was again empty. Lol. Far enough away for peace and nature. Close enough to pop out for groceries, lunch, firewood and other activities.

Overrated

Was unable to contact owner to get us in and we sat for two hours waiting for VRBO to figure it out. Once we were in contact he was accommodating. Inside was nice, but not as clean as expected - candy wrappers, water bottle under the bed, ants in the house, hot tub had a greasy ring around it. I will say that it was secluded and quiet though.

The information was sent automatically through vrbo. Unfortunately the guest was unable to figure out how to access it. The house has regular pest control service. We have reviewed the photos from the cleaners we do not see any items under the bed. The tub is cleaned and water changed after every guest if there was a ring it was from your use. Sorry you had a bad experience

quiet short getaway

We were very pleased with this stay. first time using vrbo for me so the owner was very accommodating with my questions. We didnt realize from the listing that it was connected to another property but it was ok because the other property was not occupied. the area was quiet and clean and we enjoyed the views of the pond. the walk to the front door is a little bit long and the stepping stones are spaced a bit far apart. i tripped on a stepping stone while carrying a cooler. the covered car port was a very nice surprise as it was raining the whole weekend. overall it was a very good stay and i would recommend it to anyone considering it.

Small Cabin Near NP

We booked the property to be close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and were pleased with the proximity. Listing only showed a picture of one bedroom, but allowed 4 guests. We packed an air mattress to accommodate 4 people, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin actually had 2 bedrooms, with a full in each. Amenities such as towels, linens, shampoo/soap/conditioner/lotion, dish detergent, and laundry detergent were provided; however, were not listed. There is a washer and dryer that was also not listed. While it was great to have all of this, we had packed and planned on not having it provided. The listing does not detail facts such as other cabins nearby and it being a duplex. We figured this out by reading the comments of other prior guests. We wish the listing would have been better detailed. The hot tub did not smell like chlorine and was cloudy by the end of our stay. Overall, the property met our needs and we felt safe and comfortable staying there.

The hottub would become cloudy due to not showering prior to entering or detergent residue from clothes. The hot tub uses Ozone and bromine 😁. Thank you for staying at the Cabin!

Nice place for a weekend getaway

This is a peaceful place to get away for a weekend. My husband and I came here to Cleveland, O.H. from Rochester, N.Y. for my birthday weekend. We attended the Parkside Church while we were there as well. It was very quiet and the house was stocked with almost everything you needed. It was older and more cabin like- was hoping for more if an updated home. The hot tub was amazing! However I have to be honest, the house wasn’t as clean as my husband me I would have liked it to be. So I cleaned the entire house, especially the bathroom. We DEFINITELY left the house cleaner than when we got there. We Also washed and dried all the towels as well. I Made Ryan aware if this- and was hoping for a small reimbursement for all the hard work that we did, but haven’t gotten a response from him about this yet. Our puppy 🐶absolutely loved it there! So it was worth it. We would like to visit again, hopefully I will hear back from Ryan soon- as we paid around $1200.00 for only 2 days…very expensive weekend- as we only have one income as I have many medical issues and not able to work at this time. Also I have to mention that there wasn’t much privacy or seclusion as I was told either. So if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with your husband and dog 🐶. Consider this place.
