A tropically landscaped oasis, Los Porticos is a small, boutique complex with a resort pool, an on-site restaurant, and 300’ of beautiful beachfront. One of four high-end units with unobstructed water views, your vacation rental also includes access to a seafront infinity pool.

Indulge your inner chef in the sparkling full kitchen, configured with high-end appliances and ample counter space. There is a high powered air-conditioning unit in the living area and each bedroom. Step out to the seaview veranda, where you’ll find both shaded seating and spots for sunning.

The larger Los Porticos pool is surrounded by loungers. Steps away, you’ll find the beautiful private beach with a small coral reef just offshore -- perfect for snorkeling. Top off fun-filled days with a reservation at La Dolce Vita, the casual-chic on-site restaurant.

Los Porticos is private enough to feel worlds away, yet only a mile from the village and a 5-minute cab ride from the Placencia Airport.

Refreshingly un-touristy, the small village of Placencia presents open-air restaurants with fresh seafood and international cuisine. Rent bikes, kayaks, or golf carts to get around. Visit Mayan archaeological sites or hire local guides for a diving, sailing, or jungle adventure. English is understood throughout the village, and U.S. currency is accepted as well.


Los Porticos Villas is located on a private sandy beach with views of the crystal clear, turquoise Caribbean Sea for a perfect Belize vacation. We have a pool, partially shaded sitting area, pool & beach loungers and beach towels so you don’t need to bring your own. The property is gorgeously adorned with beautiful tropical plants and trees that house such various tropical animals such as birds, butterflies, iguanas and you may even see a few parrots fly by.

Note this property is a Self Catering Property and will require a separate rental agreement with house rules.
The pool may be cleaned without notice during your stay.
Basic amenities will be provided, but more may need to be purchased during your stay.

Everything was perfect! Both bedrooms had comfortable bedding, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the WiFi was excellent.

This place and location is incredible. The host handled anything we needed. The owners in the same complex were so friendly and helpful. The private pool is the best view in the place and the spacious layout of the interior is so relaxing. The walk to town via beach is a bit too long. I would recommend a cab or golf cart. But I wouldn’t trade the location for anything.

Property is perfect for 2 couples. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck and infinite pool. Would recommend a golf cart if you want to explore.

Loved It!

Los Porticos was quiet, peaceful, beautiful, immaculately clean, and a 5-minute golf cart ride from Placencia, which was brimming with great restaurants, music, and shopping. We spent our first week in Belize in San Pedro, which was crowded, bustling, very busy, and we were ready to exhale and lie by the pool in Placencia. We did some great day tours (chocolate factory, Mayan ruins, Monkey River) and danced all evening at Cha Chi's. We had no issues with power failures due to the generators at Los Porticos, plenty of ready hot water and just every little (and big) thing we wanted. We loved it.

Belize by the Sea

Trip with our daughter and twin 7-year-olds. 2 bedrooms with en suite baths, and Murphy bed in LR, basically on the beach. We had a great time. Unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and air conditioned. Washer-dryer was blessing, and kitchen fully equipped with full size side-by-side freezer-fridge (lots of ice). Morning coffee by the pool looking out over the Caribbean was exceptional. Fishing pelicans, frigates and iguanas in abundance. Quiet and conducive to relaxation and family enjoyment. It's warm and humid in late May and early June as we expected, but tourist season had wound down. Helps to have a car or cart to get around town (2 bikes supplied). Sargassum noted but raked daily. Management very responsive to a couple uncontrollable issues, and very available. Near the airport which ended up as entertainment and not an annoyance. I am still smiling 2 weeks after the trip.

Beautiful property

The unit is very nice and comfortable. Super clean on arrival and check in was easy. It was perfect for 3 adults and the murphy bed in the living room provides extra sleeping space if needed. The unit is spacious and the view from the veranda is amazing. The private pool is a nice bonus since its mere steps from the door. The unit is a few minutes drive from the entire peninsula, and maybe 5 minutes from the airport. The only "complaints" we had were that the cookware options in the kitchen were quite limited. We ate dinners in the unit alot since we were there for a month, and it would have been easier if the kitchen was better equipped. Also, it would be really nice if there was a ceiling fan on the veranda, as the wall between units blocked most of the breeze. Even a stand up fan that could be moved outside would be better than nothing. There is staff maintaining the property throughout the day if you have any concerns, and everyone was nice and helpful.
