Beautiful Kabekona Lake home centered on massive sandbar! House has 3 bedrooms that consist of a king, queen and full size bed. Also has a bunkroom with queen and bunkbed set and a sunroom with pullout queen sleeper. A fully stocked kitchen and lots of gathering spaces.
Perfect for family vacations and gatherings, golf weekends, ice fishing, snowmobiling trips or just a quiet weekend of R&R. The amenities are endless.....

Place was amazing. Fun long weekend with family. Happy we were able to bring our pets with us so we didn’t have to kennel them. Hoping to be able to come back and enjoy the place in the summer some time!

Incredible Lake House

We just returned from a five-day stay at this incredible lake house. It was truly one of the best vacation rentals we've experienced-and we've stayed at many properties across the U.S. and abroad. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.The home was immaculately clean and check-in was smooth and simple. Communication with Dave was exceptional-quick, friendly, and thorough. The listing was not only accurate, but even better in person. Every amenity you could possibly want and more was thoughtfully included.The location was ideal-secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet close to biking trails and just a short drive to Walker for charming in-town shopping and great dining options. The sandbar was a huge hit with our family-absolutely beautiful and perfect for all ages.Inside, the house is spacious with well-thought-out bedroom spacing that gave everyone room to relax. The air conditioning kept the home cool and comfortable even on the hottest days. We loved the large yard for family games, the relaxing deck space, and the hot tub for winding down in the evenings. The furniture and decor were stylish, comfortable, and made it feel like home.We can’t recommend this property enough. It’s a gem!!! We’re already talking about when we can return!

Enjoyable family vacation

Property was great for our family. Plenty of room to accommodate everyone and one little one that needed quiet naps! Beautiful lake and view that keeps us coming back to Kabekona. Hosts were accommodating and great communicators. We will be back!

Great family retreat.

We enjoyed this wonderful vacation home that offered a very relaxing family retreat. It was very spacious and comfortable for us as grandparents, parents and grandsons along with one golden retriever who loved swimming in the lake. We can’t thank the hosts enough for sharing this property and we look forward to coming back next year.

Great summer getaway to the lake

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was clean, comfortable, and the perfect “up north” vacation spot. We spent a lot of time outside, and the lake was perfect for my young children. There isn’t much of a beach on the shoreline, but the water is shallow and clean. We spent hours in the water. The lot is fairly private. There was plenty of room for my extended family for a 5 day stay. The kitchen and dining area was large and could accommodate us all easily. We appreciated all the extra too: a clean hot tub, sauna, pool table, darts, etc. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Beautiful lake house

We loved this lake house! It was fully equipped with all the necessities for a long weekend stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed the deck and backyard area. Comfortably slept 6 adults (3 couples). The lake is beautiful, we enjoyed listening to the loons! We were able to launch our boat at the public launch and dock at the house. Great property and would stay again! Would suggest a few more chairs for hanging out in the back yard/dock area though! :)

My grandfather introduced my family to the area when he purchased Point of Pines Resort next door in the 1950"s. My family quickly fell in love with the lake and surrounding area and has owned several lots on this lake since then. This property has been in our family since the 1980's and the home was designed by my parents and completed in 1991. It has stayed in the Amundson family ever since. We have raised our kids with weekends at the cabin, with the Fourth of July being a family tradition on the lake.
We have one daughter living in Florida, our son in college at NDSU and our baby girl is a junior in high school. We live in the Minneapolis area and have work commitments in the cities. Finding time to enjoy the cabin is difficult. So with that, we recently decided that now is the time to share the property and try a new business adventure!! We truly hope you enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Kabekona Lake as much as our family has!
