Charming, spacious, private villa is located on a cul-de-sac offering a quiet retreat after a day spent at the beach, golfing or enjoying the many activities that Hilton Head has to offer.

The large screened porch off the living room overlooks the saltwater pool is perfect for dining or relaxing.

The pool and hot tub are just steps away or simply ride your bike to the beach where you'll have private access.

Just simply ride a bike, drive or shuttle to the beach and access our private locker with beach chairs, umbrella's and cart for your use

Down stairs includes:

Master bedroom offers king bed, smart TV and newly renovated ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower with bench.

Secondary bedroom offers two full beds and newly renovated ensuite bathroom with shower / tub.

Laundry closet with full size washer/dryers.

Upstairs includes:

Spacious open floor plan with living room, dining room table, smart large screen TV, comfortable furnishing that connects to large screened porch overlooking the saltwater pool and hot tub.

Pull out couch with queen size mattress adds additional sleeping space.

Fully furnished large kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, breakfast, everything you'll need for a weekend or a months stay. .

Please note that for your convenience we provide starter packs that include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, and dishwasher detergent, we don't restock these items during your visit.

Detailed check in information will be sent the day prior to arrival. Property manager on call to answer any questions and address any issues that might arise during your stay.

Allocated 1 parking pass with reservation - if you require additional passes $25 charge per parking pass which must be paid in advance prior to arrival.

The Shipyard Plantation gated community is our favorite to stay in, while visiting the island. The condo was in an ideal location for biking and getting to the beach. The property offered all amenities that we find valuable while traveling, specifically a washer and dryer and close proximity to the pool.

Stayed with our two kids for 5 nights. The location is perfect. Short car ride to the beach. Near bars and restaurants. The pool is awesome too, you can see it from the screened in balcony. If you are going to be busy sight seeing and going to the beach this place is perfect. Just older and some things need replacing. We had a great time!

Our stay at this unit in Shipyard was very good. The property was well-equipped with everything we needed, and its close proximity to the beach was highly convenient. Shipyard is consistently a great place to stay on Hilton Head. Aside from one minor issue with an appliance, everything about our experience was excellent. We would gladly return for another stay.

Great place and the price was great. The queen beds need to be replaced, beach stuff is in bad shape- But I’m sure that’s due to salt and sand. I would stay here again and 100% recommend people book here.

Shipyard location was great and has been a good place in the past. Pool was relaxing and steps away from condo. Spacious condo. Good water pressure in shower. Plenty of towels. Good tv in living room. Nice kitchen area. Great restaurants at Smokehouse and Skillets and mini golf at legendary golf. Condo was comfortable but needs attention to doors, carpets, smoke detector, very loose dining table legs, very humid in master bathroom all the time. Parking pass with beach pass was never ready until the last day and we had to get a temp pass each day for 4 days which was inconvenient. We made our reservation 6 months in advance so not sure why this occurred. Property manager answered my calls and texts. Thank you

This was a great place to stay, for the price. We stayed for about 230/night with insurance. For the amount of space, location and beach amenities, it was great. I very much agree with past reviews that the couch is NOT comfortable. So, if you plan on spending a lot of time relaxing in a living room, I woudn't recommend. The patio furniture is more comfortable.

The host was responsive with clear directions. Very clean and comfortable townhome with clean saltwater pool & hot tub right outside the back steps in a beautifully landscaped courtyard! Conveniently located to the beach. We walked the mile on shaded path that wound through gorgeous neighborhood.

We had a great stay! The condo was clean, well-appointed and maintained, and the location was ideal: quick walk to The Bank, and easy driving distance to everywhere else we wanted to go. We loved hanging out on the screened-in porch, and the proximity to the pool and hot tub was ideal. Oh, and the best shower pressure I think I’ve ever experienced! We also really appreciated the access to the beach locker; it had everything we needed for a day at the beach. Great experience, and we’ll definitely be back to stay here again!

Great location and quiet. Loved the king size bed and was grateful the head of the bed was not lower than the foot of the bed (rare find). Absolutely the best showers we have used in a long time great pressure and the hot water lasted. Easy to contact Steve the owner and check in was the easiest we have ever had at Shipyard.
Pool and Hot Tub not crowded and well kept. Just relaxing.

Perfect bike-riding family beach trip stay

This VRBO had everything we wanted. Enough space for our family of four, pool and hot-tub right out the back, a beautiful community beach access and plenty of walkability and bikeability in nature. Very peaceful and natural setting. Would certainly stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Overall, our stay was decent, but the villa could definitely use some updates and maintenance. The property looked nicer in the listing photos than it did in person, and unfortunately several things took away from our stay.The entire villa felt very damp and humid, including the furniture, which never seemed completely dry. The carpets also looked like they could use a thorough cleaning. The mattresses on the double beds are in desperate need of replacement—they sink significantly and were very uncomfortable. The king bed was a little better but squeaked quite a bit and wasn’t particularly comfortable either.The dishwasher did not clean well and consistently left behind film and gritty residue so we ended up having to rewash things. On several occasions, the water had a strong sulfur smell, which was unpleasant but was told it was likely due to the rain. We also found what appeared to be black mold on the master bathroom air vent. On our first day, we encountered several roaches inside as well. I do want to give credit to the property manager for responding quickly and having that addressed the very next day.There were definitely positives. The pool was really nice, we enjoyed the back deck, and the community itself was wonderful. Overall, the villa has a lot of potential, but in its current condition it needs some maintenance, deep cleaning, and updates to match what is presented in the listing photos.

Thank you for your review, but for future guest it's important to put things referenced in proper context. This review does not reflect the condition of the villa as experienced by hundreds of prior guests. When you called the office about seeing a bug and the dishwasher not working I went out to address. When I arrived no one was in I called and got permission to enter. I immediately noticed that the downstairs dehumidifier had been turned off. The dehumidifier is specifically placed in the downstairs foyer to control the humidity and temp levels from people coming in and out of the front door and the back slider used to go to the pool, it must be kept ON and running. We sprayed for the palmetto bug you mentioned. Unfortunately their commonly present in the South and often find their way in when doors are left open. This is especially hard to control when theirs a bunch of people especially kids coming in and out of the condo going to the pool through the large sliding glass doors. Upon inspection the dishwasher, which is new, was found to be working properly. We've never had an issue in the past, and haven't had any since. I am surprised by your comment about the mattresses as they are brand new. The villa itself has just been renovated with new kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, rugs and flooring, so we are baffled by this review. The tiny amount of mildew you saw on the AC vent in the master bath was caused by condensation and we wiped down. The bathroom is down stairs which is why we keep the dehumidifier on and hope that guests run the exhaust fan when showering. I hope this clarifies things for future renters.

Beach getaway

We had a wonderful time at this condo in Hilton Head. It was our first time to the Island and this was the perfect place to stay. It was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the pool area and palm trees. The master bathroom was very nice and obviously recently updated. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed being able to walk out our door and enjoy the pool each evening after a long day at the beach. Highly recommend!
