The Milk House~ Built in 1920, This sweet cottage is available for two days minimum It features a queen bed, table & chairs, and a galley kitchen, a microwave, coffeemaker, convection cooktop, small fridge, sink, cookware, plates, glasses,
& utensils. Towels provided for the Bath & large shower. This cottage is two days minimum rentals on the 34 acre Fairchild Ranch Headquarters, on Hwy 1. Gently sloped hills to explore. The owners live full-time in the main house which was built in 1880.

The husband & wife that converted this old milk house into a studio setup did a great job. Little kitchenette with microwave and single burner were more than enough for my weekend stay. I am a repeat guest and will continue to stay here when my travels bring me to the area.

It was a wonderful stay. It was quiet and relaxing. The owner was feeding the cows when we first arrived. He was very welcoming. An added extra touch I appreciated was the bottled water they had available. It is on a private ranch but very close to towns. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for our honeymoon

My wife and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon in Cambria. This place was the perfect location, being nice and secluded yet not too far from the city. All the amenities worked great, and it was a great place to return to and rest in after a day of exploration. I would absolutely recommend staying here for short vacations to the area.

5 nights for central coast vacation in August

Very clean and comfortable stay. Enjoyed the ranch environment, star gazing and listening to the owls and talking to the cows. Quiet at night and perfect location for activities in Cambria, Hearst Castle, Cayucos and Morro Bay. We would stay there again.

Adorable guest house

My husband and I spent two nights at The Milkhouse. It was so cute and in a really safe, quiet location with convenient access to Hearst Castle, the elephant seal rookery and lots of restaurant options.

Small but sweet & as isolated as we wanted

Great little place. Had a wonderful time getting away from the busy schedule & just disconnecting. Didn't have to travel too far & wasn't that far away from nature or Morro/Cyucos if we wanted to hit a restaurant. Great little get away.

The property was beautiful. The Milk House was quaint and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. We met the Caretaker Curtis who was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back soon.

The BEST!! Gorgeous, scenic location.

My husband and I celebrated my husband’s birthday and the New Year at this beautiful ranch. We stayed in the Milk House. It was lovely. So tastefully renovated. The hosts were very accommodating and kind. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful!

Very cute cottage that was well kept and beautiful! Owner left us with breakfast items such as oatmeal, fruits, and coffee. The outdoor patio was very relaxing to enjoy a glass of wine. I would definitely stay here again no complaints:)

Awesome unique property

Very cool property just off highway 1 north of Cayucos. Owners are great people, so nice. It’s a unique farm property that has two building to stay in both have everything you will need to have a great stay. The property is less than 10 minutes to the beach and downtown Cayucos. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

Our stay at the Milk Ranch was memorable. It is a very lovely property and the hosts are stellar. We were there in early spring and experienced the tenth or eleventh atmospheric river as well as more shades of green that you would think possibly existed. Will definitely be back
