Kaos, but it worked
I had family and friends flying and driving from several places. As i was driving (3 hr trip)to the property, i was sent an email saying that the property wasn't available. This was around 2pm and check in was 4pm. I didn't see the message until i arrived around 3pm. No call was made given the short notice to inform me of the issue. After arriving and sending several emails to the host, they accommodate me with a house of the same size in the same community. Great! I arrived to this place around 4:30pm with no access instructions. Minutes later a cleaning crew shows up to clean the house and tells me it will take a minimum of 2 hrs. We had plans that we had to cancel, about 15 people waiting to get in the house, and friends f lying in and ubering to previous location. It was abot 28 of us total. When the cleaning crew finished 2hrs later, they lock the door and we still didn't have access. I had to email the host again and about 10 minutes later i received the access codes. All the request for the previous house, heated pool, heated spa, grill were not honored in the new home. The stove did not work properly in the new home. It was just a mess. The house itself was huge, spacious, and beautiful. The said it was an upgrade because they gave me acces to the garage , which was set up with a pool table with pool sticks that didn't have tips and air hockey. This was the reason they would not reimburse me for anything. In my opinion, the customer service was terrible.
