Book your next extended family vacation or friends getaway in this gorgeous, large log cabin, tucked in the pine trees on the 1,626 acre Lake Shamineau! This property boasts beautiful views on one of the cleanest spring-fed lakes in Minnesota with a bonus island view, and is a quick 2-hour drive away from the Twin Cities and 1-hour from St. Cloud. Sleeps up to 14 in 3 bedrooms (two rooms with a queen-sized bed and one with a king-size bed), a large loft (with 1 queen-sized bed and 6 twins), and 1 pullout sofa. The exterior bunkhouse has 2 full-sized beds and can be used in the summer months.

Pass the day away taking in a slice of nature with swimming off the dock, lounging by the lake, fishing (Walleye, Northern, Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Muskie), kayaking (2 provided), paddle boating, playing pool or foosball, or by relaxing on the boathouse deck to watch the sunset. Listen for the call of the loons as you soak in the beauty. Bring your own boat to tie up to our dock or rent our 2024 Godfrey 22 ft pontoon! And to top it off, if you desire a day out, within a short 15-35 minute drive, you can play golf, mini-golf, go-cart, go to a water park, go horseback riding, or visit numerous restaurants. If you are lucky, you might see the Northern Lights!

There are multiple entertainment areas, perfect for spending time together, as well as space to spread out and have some privacy. The cabin includes board games, bean bag toss, croquet, Kubb yard game, free high-speed wi-fi, a firestick on each of 3 TV’s (just bring your streaming account login and password), and movies with a DVD player. It includes 3 separate living room areas, a dining room, laundry room, and kitchen with a Kuerig and all the cooking/baking items you’ll need. There are 4 exterior decks including a spacious boathouse deck with expansive views, a main deck with a lakeview, a master deck off a bedroom, and a deck on the bunkhouse. The patio is perfect for evening bonfires (wood is complimentary), smores, and lots of laughter. The cabin has 2 full bathrooms, both with a shower and one with a bathtub.

Room for 4 cars maximum to be parked on property. Smoking is NOT allowed, and sorry, no pets as we have beautiful wood floors milled from trees on the property plus an allergy in the family.

There are 4 security cameras on the exterior of the property that will only be viewed in the event of injury or damage.
