This beloved beachfront house is on Buccaneer Beach with private beach access. The expansive ocean views are breathtaking from the 3 patio/decks. Beautiful sunset and pier views.
You can walk to restaurants, breweries, pubs, shops and cafes. We are only 1.2 miles from the TOP GUN house and Oceanside Pier. This house lets you enjoy privacy while still enjoying many people at the beach by the pier. The strand has 2 playgrounds for the children and rentals for all your water needs and bike rentals as well.
Many attractions within driving distance such as Legoland, Famous Carlsbad flower fields and outlet mall just to name a few. This is a one of a kind property that is returned to year after year by many families. A priceless experience!

Perfect beach house! We had surf shows everyday right in our back yard. Great location for walks, coffee and eating out. The property manager was very prompt with replies. Five stars all around!

happened to visit during a record cold snap in SoCal - the place made a cozy and you could watch some truly epic surf. plenty of coffee nearby

A retreat home in paradise!

This is a WONDERFUL property! It is very spacious, and our family of 9 was very comfortable. The home is right on the Pacific Ocean just steps away from the surf. All pictures and descriptions of the property are very accurate, and Betty is a wonderful host. We are very grateful for our stay, and we hope to return soon!

Amazing family get away

This home is exactly as described and more beautiful in person. It was perfect for our family trip with grandma, all the cousins aged 23-3 years and the parents. We loved watching surfers every morning while having our coffee and going down to the beach at low tide. The house had everything we needed and tons of stores close by. Looking forward to returning to this prime spot.

Everything about our stay was excellent. This awesome property is in a perfect location for any activity a family would like to experience. We especially appreciated the ability to walk (rather than drive) to the many great local options for meals, drinks, beach, walking/biking trails, pinball, shopping, and so on. And our property manager was simply wonderful in every way. Our entire family agreed that we would love to stay again.

The location is perfect, the home is spacious and lovely, and the beach access and ocean views can't be beat! We had every comfort we needed for a fun and relaxing beach vacation for our family. Great beach house

Owner was fantastic. Great communication and definitely wanted to make sure it was a great stay. Views and location are great. House was very clean and well stocked. Closest thing to a negative for the house is it’s starting to show wear from use and salt air. It’s not even close to a point where it would keep me from staying again, but is noticeable.

Wonderful Getaway

Our entire family loved the property. It was very spacious, and well stocked with everything we could possibly want. It's steps to the beach, and so amazing to be right on the water and listen to the ocean day and night. Our teens had an air hockey game in their bedroom, and the ping pong table in the garage got a lot of use. The weather was lovely, and the tides and the wonderful sandy beach gave us plenty of time in the water. So relaxing and just what we all needed.

Just amazing!

We were greeted by Betty the host at our arrival. When we walked in the door we were in awe. It’s just like the post. It’s so spacious and open. It has everything anyone would need for a vacation. Sleeping with the windows open upstairs and hearing the waves was amazing. Close to everything and great coffee place literally steps away. Can’t wait to go back.

Great experience

We’ve stayed on the beach in Oceanside for over 10 years and this has to be one of our favorites. Betty was exceptional throughout our stay, as well as after we left. Every place we’ve been has minor issues and adjustments, the key is how quickly and appropriately they are the managed. Any concern was taken care of immediately above expectations. We loved the place and are planning to return next year.

O-side Awesomeness

We had an amazing time at this property. The house is perfectly situated on the water, and one of the most well stocked and well appointed rentals used. A fully stocked kitchen, towels, and linens, beach towels, even a complementary bundle of wood for the outdoor fireplace! Bette was extremely communicative with us throughout the rental and very responsive to any needs we might have. The only slight disappointment is that due to mother nature, the home does not have direct access to the beach and the tide was high every day so we couldn’t walk the beach in front of the property. However, just a short block in either direction is public access. Quiet neighbors, friendly, neighbors, and all in all a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Beautiful Beach House!

We loved everything about this beach house. The house was large enough for our family of 9 and it was in a perfect location. It was so much closer to the ocean than we expected and what a treat to go to sleep with the sound of the waves. Beautiful views, even from the shower in the master bathroom! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We all really enjoyed watching the surfers and the dolphins. The kids loved playing in the sand next to the patio and we were thankful for the number of toys that were provided. We highly recommend staying here. Betty is an incredible host, she anticipated all our needs and was so accommodating. Thank you for our vacation and our wonderful memories.

You will NOT want to leave this house!

This house is every bit as spectacular as the photos, if not more. We all walked in the door and said "Wow" at the view. The beautiful patio, master and rooftop decks offer three different vantage points to hang out with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. The master bedroom shower even has a great view of the water! This was a family trip with our adult kids and we were able to walk to Oceanside restaurants, to the pier and along the Strand. Then we hurried back for the sunsets, watched movies, played cards and sat outside at night when possible. Our hosts graciously left wood for a firepit, but we didn't get to it due to colder then expected temperatures. The Oceanside train station is also super convenient for a day trip to San Diego, LA or a host of beach towns. Be sure to take the Coaster so you can enjoy the amazing views along the way. Betty was a delight to work with from the very start and took care of every detail so that our trip was perfect. You won't find a more spectacular house from which to enjoy all that Southern California has to offer. This trip was everything I hoped it would be!

So love this beach house but work often takes me to LA so I am now sharing my beloved beach house with guests.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

My house has space for one large car or two small ones inside the garage and lots of street parking.
I also have a bedroom & bathroom on the main level. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, with the primary having a en suite bathroom and the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. In total there are 4 bedrooms.
I do have a high chair for your use plus grill, fire pit, sand toys, beach chairs and an awesome views right on the beach.
