Welcome to Metro-Detroit and our centrally located ranch in the Lamphere district of Madison Heights. Our cozy, stylish home is an ideal place to stay as you explore all that metro Detroit has to offer while visiting for pleasure or for business. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home boasting a bar, game, and entertainment area in the basement. The main floor features an elegant living area with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen, and a dining area.

The space:

This beautifully appointed home features lots of classic details & charm including plaster walls, a living room w/ coved ceiling & hardwood floors throughout much of the main level. Highlights of the kitchen include a full remodel with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an adjacent dining room. Three full bedrooms, a beautifully updated bathroom, and a spacious living area complete the first floor. The finished basement includes an entertainment/game room with a bar, a roomy full bath, an additional sleeping arrangement, and laundry. This home sits on a nice-sized lot & has a fully fenced-in backyard with a patio sectional seating, providing an excellent space for outdoor entertaining. Convenient to downtown Royal Oak and many nearby hubs.

During your stay, you are welcome to utilize all of the spaces and amenities. If there is something you're unsure how to use, let us know and we will be happy to assist!

There is a locked closet door in the laundry room where we store cleaning supplies which guests do not have access to.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and all the pots/pans/utensils you would need. The ice machine in the freezer was a nice bonus. I wish I spent more time in the basement because it was very cute and cozy with a bed, bar, foosball table, extra bathroom. It was just me and my mom so we spent most time upstairs. I didn’t realize there is 4 queen size beds in the house when I booked it. Plenty of space. I also enjoyed the neighborhood. I felt safe to go for long walks around the area.

We had an excellent stay. Shu was a wonderful host, and provided all of the information we needed for our stay. The house was clean, well appointed and exactly as described. The home was not ready at check in at 4pm and there was a potential challenge with the heat the host, Christine, let us know about. She called and we agreed that our family would stay elsewhere and she would provide a full refund. Then another host, Shu, said they would not offer a refund. Christine has not responded to phone calls or texts which is very unprofessional, low-integrity, and of course unfortunate. I have chosen to escalate this with VRBO.

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood

The property was perfect for a friends/family trip to the Detroit area. The location was in a quiet neighborhood with ample walking access to restaurants. Home was nicely decorated, plenty of room for 5 adults, and the beds were very comfortable. The property manager did a wonderful job and was easily accessible when/if needed. You could not ask for anything more than this property gives you. We will stay again during our next visit!

Awesome location and host!

The house was very clean. The home fit the description that was given and pictures that were on the Vrbo app. I was close to a bunch of different areas in a nice neighborhood. The house was perfect for me and my family. The host was very nice and helpful and very good with communication, I will be booking this house again the next time I come to Michigan. I highly recommend.

We spent several years in the area and it is always a joy to be back at our Madison Heights home. This home allows us to be central to all the main hubs in the area with quick freeway access along with being right next to Royal Oak and Ferndale downtown. We love the local eateries and cafes being a quick drive and the walkable neighborhood.

This home is perfect for families visiting for business or pleasure. We would love for you to enjoy our home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love the cozy yet spacious feel of this home and the quiet residential neighborhood. This home has allowed us to have the best of both worlds, being next to the city while also being able to have a hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Enjoy the ranch layout to maximize living on the first floor which has all the necessities without using the stairs. Yet double the living space from our recent renovation to the basement which features the basement game and entertainment space.
