Cute home, great location - just a 5-minute walk to the beach and tons of restaurants. The host gave clear instructions, and our stay was smooth. I’d stay here again!

Cute house - good location

Traveled with family to Long Beach to attend a conference. The house is cute, well maintained and clean. There were extra blankets and pillows available. Some paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper provided. Beds were comfortable. It was easy to access the house with the code provided. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly. There is a washer and dryer available located in the garage. The garage and back yard are secured with locks and fence. Not used to street parking - if we couldn't find a spot, we would drive around again and eventually found a spot close by. We thought about parking in back by the garage but there were some people (I assume homeless) in the alley so didn't feel comfortable going back there. Didn't see them again after this though.House is close to a lot and we had food delivery several time and had no issues with the location. I would recommend - much more affordable than the local hotels!

Bad host, Dirty, False advertising

-If you don't mind the smell of urine, trash in the front yard, dust covering every surface inside, ants, tattered upholstery, and false advertising, then you won't mind staying here. -We asked to check in early, offered to pay an upcharge. Host told us that they needed to clean the rental, stating,"Our top priority is to ensure that the house is thoroughly sanitized and prepared for your arrival, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness." Finally got into the rental, the coded lock would not open until EXACTLY the check in time. Host would not let renters go in a moment early. Bad form. -Finally got into the rental, it was only to find dust covering everything inside, and the "view" out the windows obscured due to the thick layer of dirt. We were tired, long day of travel so finding another rental wasn't an option. We stayed. -Woke in the morning to ants crawling all over the sink and on our toiletries. Disgusting. -Cleaned our belongings, and being in the area for a memorial, had to leave without finding another rental. -Got back, went to use "hot tub" listed as part of rental. When asked where the jacuzzi was, host said, "...our listing does not state that we have a Jacuzzi." The host said that the "hot tub" listed was the bathtub. -Looked for the washer/dryer and fireplace that the host had listed as amenities. Not there. -Told host I'd like to leave and to please refund the last two nights of our stay. She refused. -If I could give a ZERO rating I would.

We had a great time staying at this house able to walk to shops, dining and the beach. It was great to have access to the garage since it was a busy weekend and there was not a lot of parking on the street

Bohemian California vibes

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute bungalow that had lots of care taken in the details and decor with a Bohemian vibe. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds and a cute kitchen that was well stocked with dishes, glasses, etc. Walking distance to the ocean as well as restaurants and convenience stores. Stephanie the host was extremely prompt in replying to any questions we had.
