The cottage was well appointed, beach feel and cute. The hosts were very responsive and personable. Our cat loved the front window :). Overall enjoyed our visit and hope to be back some day.

Great property. Clean, spacious, and walking distance to wonderful restaurants. The host gave great instructions and was very responsive. Walking distance to the dog beach. Short drive to multiple grocery stores and retail. We had a fun weeklong stay and enjoyed beaches up and down the PCH from this well appointed house. Beautiful interior with natural light and private backyard.

Rose Cottage in Belmont Shore was a fantastic stay and easily surpassed our expectations. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. The internet was also excellent, which made our stay even more convenient. The location is perfect—just a short walk to 2nd Street and the beach, making it easy to enjoy the best of the area. We also really appreciated the good-sized secure garage, which made parking simple and stress-free. We would absolutely love to return on our next visit to Long Beach!

Pei and her family were absolutely wonderful guests. They stayed at Rose Cottage for a week and were highly responsive throughout their visit, making communication easy and seamless. This was one of the best stays we've had through VRBO. The house is modest, but beautifully maintained and decorated. However, the best part is that the host thought of everything, including sound machines in the bedrooms, bandaids in the bathrooms and drawers labeled in the kitchen. They clearly put a lot of thought and care into the needs of their guests and did a wonderful job making things accessible and easy. They were very attentive, helpful, and accommodating, including check in and check out times. Best hosts we've worked with out of places we've stayed. Check in was a breeze. The garage was tricky to get the car in and out of, mostly because of other people's trash cans in the way, but it worked out fine. Even the street parking was the easiest we've experienced in Long Beach. (We had two cars so needed to park on the street also.) The beds were a little softer than we prefer, but it worked out fine. Check OUT was notably the best we've experienced. They didn't ask us to load dishwashers or take out trash, a very nice touch as that is no way to end a vacation as we've had to do at other homes. They simply said that was what our cleaning fee is for. It was very much appreciated! We highly recommend staying here. The house is centrally located to the area and we will definitely return when coming back to visit our daughter who is starting school there.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, incredibly clean, spacious, and so thoughtfully prepared. Kristin truly anticipated every possible need. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with every dish, serving platter, storage container, grilling item, and appliance we needed. The bathrooms were equally impressive, with thoughtful extras like makeup remover, Band-Aids, and all the little things that are so helpful when traveling. We also loved the welcome snacks and bottled water. The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting, with great bedding, pillows, and plenty of beach towels, plus a wagon and beach gear that made our time at the beach so easy. Check-in was seamless, and Kristin was kind enough to let us check in early, which we really appreciated. Kristin is extremely responsive and provided a link for all the 4th of July happenings! The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and just two blocks from 2nd Street, with shops, restaurants, ice cream, and coffee shops galore. The beach is a lovely 10-minute walk away, and Huntington Beach was only about a 20-minute drive for a fun day trip. The easy access to both the shops and beach made it a perfect spot for our trip. This was one of those rentals where every detail made a difference, and we would happily stay here again!

I am Belmont Shore resident via Austin, TX. I love sharing my neighborhood with my guests. The walkability, the great restaurants, tons of great shopping and all the different events offered in and around the town make our little shore city a best kept secret.

Rosie’s dog beach is a blast for our four legged guests. Horny Corner is great to hang with locals or just try every restaurant you can fit in. You can’t miss whatever you choose to do!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Rose Cottage is a very well thought out home with plenty of space for everyone - both indoors and outdoors. We have two fenced in grass areas for both kids and pets. A cute front porch swing and front yard rocking chairs to drink your morning coffee or afternoon wine and people watch. Or spend time on the spacious and private brick patio with a grill and table for outdoor dining.

The house offers 3 bedrooms (2 up and 1 downstairs) and sleeps 6 comfortably. The house has 2 dining areas and 2 living spaces with TVs. We offer a desk and a printer with strong WiFi if you do have to get some work done.

The eat in kitchen is large and very well appointed. Feel free to cook anything you can dream up.

And if you need to.. a washer and dryer and all the laundry items you might need to do a couple loads.

It is truly is a home away from home.
