John and I were born and raised in beautiful Southern Colorado. We are so proud of this gorgeous area and have spent a lifetime in and out of the Wet Mountains, Sangre de Cristo mountains and Front Range of Colorado. We love to enjoy all parts of the experience that awaits you. Antiquing in Florence, heading to dinner in Westcliffe, checking in at Bishop's Castle, sitting under the aspens at San Isabel Lake, hiking St Charles Trail, exploring the River Walk and many historic museums and restaurants in Pueblo. You name it, this area is a hidden jewel and we are proud to call it our home.
We are so excited to share our home, Star Wrangler, with you. Being your host, means that we have the opportunity to think about what you would love before you arrive, anticipate what might delight you, learn from your comments on how to make things more beautiful and connect with you over your return visits. We hope to build memories with you and treasure the opportunity to enjoy this home and area together.
Welcome and thank you for being our guests.
Best to you,
John and Amy
Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement
Our arrival at this beautiful home came out of tragedy. Our historic cabin in Beulah, Colorado burned to the ground in April 2022. After much deliberation and heart break, we made the decision as a family to look for a new home rather than rebuild as the time frame for rebuilding was too difficult given our greater family circumstances.
Our greatest desire was to find a new mountain cabin in the Dark Skies area close to Westcliffe, Beulah and San Isabel that would also allow us to be close to Florence and Pueblo. What a find this beautiful home was! It had everything that we were looking for including a galaxy of stars above. It took us close to a year to work forward in creating the comfy retreat that we wanted to share and we hope that it is as much fun for you to stay in as it has been for us to fluff.
We are constantly delighted by the opportunity to be part of the Westcliffe and Silver Cliff community stretching our hand east to Wetmore and Pueblo, north to Florence and south to San Isabel and Rye. This is our beloved stomping grounds; the trails of our childhood and we love so much to get to continue to be part of it.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
Our property is unique in that it is vastly private. It is a true Colorado enclave that asks you to sit and glory in the beauty of Mother Nature. You can truly connect to yourself in this area and appreciate the beauty day and night of what it means to be in a very pristine, untouched area of Colorado full of wildflowers, the occasional hummingbird and chipmunk and the sound of the wind shaking the aspen leaves or stirring the clouds through the stars overhead. This is a rare thing in a state that is becoming busier and busier. We treasure the peace and ask our guests to enjoy and preserve this little corner of paradise.
