Easy stay in Windham

Great location adjacent the ski resort. House was well stocked with really comfortable beds. Clean and together place. Beautiful area.

We went for a weekend of skiing. We could walk to the slope which was awesome and the layout was great for our group.

I recently stayed at this wonderful property and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The communication with the host was exceptional—quick, clear, and friendly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Beautiful location and property but was very dirty in a way that it felt like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in years and is likely a frequent party location. Wouldn’t matter as much if we didn’t have a toddler crawling around

Really sorry that things weren’t up to your standards. We’re shocked to hear this kind of feedback and of course have followed up with our cleaners. You’ll recall they were in that very morning because we were able to accommodate your request for an early check in. If you’re able to respond to my private message inquiring about what you found dirty that would be really helpful, since this is genuinely the first time we have ever had feedback of this nature. The property is deep cleaned twice annually, obviously has a general clean after every guest and definitely is not a party location. We have restrictions on this kind of activity and our property managers monitor for it.

Enjoyable stay at Wyndham

This property is very nicely located on a hill at Wyndham. We have been in Wyndham before but this place was much better. We were 2 families with 2 kids who also enjoyed the stay along with adults. The house was pretty clean and all the necessary stuffs were available. Only problem we had was about not having a curtain or blind on the skylight in the room above. I let the owner know about that and hope that will be taken care soon.

A terrific getaway in the Northern Catskills!

The property is clean and very well appointed. They have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable and at home! We love this location on the mountain too. It’s close to town but feels private and quiet. Plenty of room for a big group but also great for a couple. We had friends join us for a few days of our week long stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a heat wave during our stay and the house was unbearably hot without AC, especially the master bedroom, which is on the 2nd floor. Next time, we will opt for a place that has AC in the summer. It’s too bad because this place is so quaint and enjoyable otherwise!

Thanks very much for your kind review Tatiana - we definitely want our guests to feel at home and comfortable. I’m sorry it was so hot during your stay - usually guests find the large ceiling fan and the other fans we have around the property do the trick but it seems that it was especially warm last week. Since it looks like these freak heat conditions are getting more frequent we have some air conditioning units on their way to the house. Thanks very much for the feedback - always appreciated.

CURRENTLY NO AC otherwise would rate higher

I see the potential of this unit. Appropriately named “skiing” it is probably a gem to visit in the winter time. However, would NOT recommend in summer…This unit does not have AC at this time and put a dent into our stay. With the heat advisory we were frying at 82-85 degrees… couldn’t sleep on the top floor, despite the fans available. The coolest temp we had indoor was 79! With fans and windows open. Noted the basement was much more tolerable. The owners very responsive and nice, stated they are working on a solution for this but I would definitely confirm this issue is resolved, as this winter cabin is built to keep in heat.

Thanks for your review Nurit and appreciate the kind words. Sorry the temperatures were so high during your stay and that the air conditioning unit hadn’t been installed yet (although ironically was there). We have several going in to help mitigate these extreme heat waves we’re seeing.
