Inviting, Cozy Catskills Home - Primed for Fall!

Come enjoy all the best the central Catskills have to offer in our cozy home. The 4 bedrooms provide ample space for large groups of families or friends; the large kitchen and dining areas make meals at home a breeze. Just an easy 2 hours from NYC, the house is conveniently surrounded by the best of everything the area has to offer, skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, dining, and shopping. In your downtime, curl up in front of the fireplace with a book or stream a show on the Smart TV.
The space
The entire house was recently renovated and newly furnished to provide all of the modern comforts of home here in the country, including high speed wifi internet (500mb).

The kitchen is fitted out with stainless steel appliances, (full sized refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher and microwave) granite countertops and stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve a fabulous (or simple!) meal for your group. There is a small breakfast nook with seating for 4 along with a large dining table with seating for 8. The back deck features a gas grill and a covered outdoor dining area with a large dining table and seating for 8 as well.

The four bedrooms are on the second floor, Bedroom 1 and 2 both feature king sized beds. Bedroom 3 has two twin sized beds, and Bedroom 4 has a twin sized bunk bed, along with a connecting door to Bedroom 1. Every bedroom is fully furnished for a comfortable stay with area rugs, dressers, bedside tables and lamps. There is an ample supply of luxurious bedding from Brooklinen with plenty of extra sheets, pillows and towels. The family room on the ground floor has a queen sized sleeper sofa for extra guests.

The living room has plenty of space to hang out in front of the new gas fireplace. Seating includes a plush, deep ‘L’ shaped sofa along with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and lamps. For those needing to binge watch, the family room has a new 55” LG Smart TV ready to stream any of your favorite apps.

The house is centrally located within the Catskills, in Shandaken, NY. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, there are plenty of options in close proximity. Belleayre, Hunter, Windham and Plattekill offer skiing and snowboarding, with local outfitters offering cross-country and snowshoeing. The Esopus Creek is just a stone’s throw away and offers world class trout fishing, swimming and tubing. The area is surrounded by endless hiking opportunities in all directions with trails ranging from easy to very challenging. Wrap up your day at either of the local breweries, Woodstock Brewing or West Kill Brewery.

The area also features plenty of amazing dining options, including the famous Phoenicia Diner, Peekamoose Restaurant, Urban Cowboy Lodge, Brio’s, the Pines, the Shandaken Inn, Silvia’s, Cucina and The Red Onion.

Guest access to the house is self-check in with a digital lock on the back door, off the rear deck. There is a backup key on the property as well.
