Our family vacations together. Over the last 19 years we have vacationed many places from Hawaii to Outer Banks and 3031 Emerald Road was our best experience.

We had a wonderful family reunion at this rental on Frye Island. There was plenty of space for all of us and the rental was generously appointed with plenty of kitchen utensils and tableware for our large group. The three refrigerators and two dishwashers were a treat for us. We would be back for nest summer if it was not already rented.

We recently rented this property for a Family Reunion and everyone had a great time!

The location of this property was great. The early morning stillness of the lake was excellent for canoe and kayak rides. The owners of the property, Caitlin and Bob, were nearby and couldn’t have been any nicer! They gave an initial walkthrough to explain everything, which was helpful, for such a large place. A Little Piece of Heaven

The perfect house and location for a gathering of family and/or friends. Victoria has given lots of thought to what is needed to make your stay perfect. Not sure how she arranged for a week of perfect weather, but it was! We are sure to be back again for another very special family gathering.

Wedding trip

We stayed 9/18 thru 9/23 for my sons wedding taking place on the island 9/21. The house was beautiful, perfect for our needs and was as advertised. Tory provided all of the essentials. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for more.

Family vacation

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Frye Island. Eighteen of us from grandparents to 5 year olds. The children loved exploring the island on their bikes, the adults could relax on the dock, go out in the kayaks and enjoy the beautiful weather. The house was spotless and well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. We look forward to returning next year.

87th Birthday Celebration

This property is so very special! It’s everything that a Maine lake vacation should be! The entire family was there to celebrate my mother’s 87th birthday and we made amazing new memories! From pontooning to floating to gaming, all generations enjoyed the week! We hope to be back soon!

The best place for a large family

We're a family of 20 and require at least 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a complete and highly functional kitchen, a large gaming room and sandy beach suitable for infants. This is the only place that has checked all the boxes. Its clean, private, functional with plenty of space for 20. Tori was a great host, responsive to any and all queries. We rebooked for next year and hope to return year after year.

Perfect Family Reunion

Our 5 families plus grandparents get together every 2 years and this is the best appointment house we have ever stayed at. Tori has really thought of everything. Along with the 2 dishwashers, 3 fridges and 2 gas grills the kitchen has everything needed to cook for a large gathering. Lots of large pots and pans, crockpot, blender, multiple toasters. We cooked hamburgers/hotdogs the first night and the tanks were low, I let Tori know just so she could have them replaced before the next people came, and someone was there to replace them the next day! The house yard has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had a great time swimming in the lake and hanging out by the fire pit.

Great for Multi-Family Trips

We had a group of 6 families with kids ranging from 2.5 to 13 the last week of June. The house was incredible for our group - everything in the house is designed for large groups: Every family had their own toilet and sink with extras to spare. The kitchen has 2 large sinks and 2 dishwashers

 The island is great for exploring - between bike rides around d the island
. to the general store
 and games of pickleball plenty to do. Highlight of our trip was renting a 150hp Pontoon which we moored at the house. We took the kids tubing every day and explored the lake. The lake was surprisingly a perfect temperature for swimming. The property has plenty of shade and opportunity to lay out in the sun. The host had great communication - sent us a ton of details to ensure we had plenty of fun things to do - and was highly responsive to each inquiry we sent. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Extended Family Get-away

This property and host Caitlyn are both phenomenal! Couldn’t ask for anything better! House is perfectly laid out for entertaining extended family groups with enough separate space to give some privacy. Dock and Lake set up is ideal with small children. The way the rock formation were laid out, there was a very safe area for the kids to swim in shallow water after digging to their heart’s content in adjoining private beach area. House is extremely well-provisioned! Really hope to stay here again!

Perfect House!

We are previous island owners and Frye Island is our favorite place in the world. This was our second time staying in this house and it was as perfect this time as it was the first time! The house lacks nothing. We were a group of 18 and there was plenty of room for everyone! I will never stay anywhere else on Frye Island! Thank you Kirby family!

Perfect lake house vacation!

Beautiful lake house for a large group. We had babies, young children, teenagers, college age, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 70’s
plenty of space to spread out and something to do for everyone. This home was perfectly and thoughtfully appointed. The owners were very attentive and helpful from the booking all the way up until they greeted us and gave a tour upon our arrival. We had a spectacular vacation!
