Exceptional, classic Lakefront House on Big Sebago Lake

View the sunset overlooking Sebago Lake from your own private dock!
This stunning 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom, lakefront home is the perfect spot for a family get-together, a friend's getaway, or a tranquil retreat for 2.
This home boasts 190 feet of privately owned waterfront and its own private dock. From the large wraparound porch, enjoy views of Frye Island while dining al fresco.
Explore the lake by kayak or relax with a good book on one of two large decks..
The living room and dining room area feature cathedral-like ceilings with plenty of windows to fill the house with sunshine no matter what season.
In the summer, walk or drive to the ferry for a beach day and lunch/dinner on Frye Island.
With Shawnee Peak a 35-minute drive from the house, this is the perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes.

We welcome gatherings of up to 15 people at the lakehouse, with 10 overnight guests maximum. (No more than 5 to 6 cars in the driveway)
Out of respect for our neighbors, it is important that only small gatherings be allowed at the house and absolutely no loud parties.

The master bedroom and bath are tucked away on their own private floor.
Downstairs, the additional 3 bedrooms adjoin a TV and game room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay!

At the house, there is a dock as well as a mooring.
The dock has a boat lift for all boats (except pontoon boats, ) up to 21 feet.
The mooring near the dock is for all larger boats including pontoon boats..
We have 2 kayaks available as well.

*Please note that the dock is removed in October and is returned in the late spring*

The indoor fireplace features a "faux" fire insert. Real fires are not permitted inside the house. Enjoy the outdoor firepit year round!

Exceptional house with fantastic lake views. Tranquil location, very close to the Frye Island ferry. The house was impeccably clean inside and out. Plenty of room. Warm welcome and excellent communication with the host; our questions were answered immediately. The host gave us precise driving directions and lots of ideas to keep us busy. We will visit again!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful, well appointed home right on the lake. Plenty of space for our whole family and we loved the lake view from the wraparound deck. Can’t wait to go back!

Can't wait to go back!

Our family enjoyed a perfect getaway at this gorgeous, lakefront home. It is impeccably clean, sunny, spacious, and incredibly private. We sat in the sun on the dock then walked to the Frye Island Ferry for a little day adventure. We found several beaches and a golf course where we enjoyed a drink before heading to dinner at the island's restaurant. We can't wait to stay here again soon!

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

The property was beautiful with a lake view, a deck where we’d have our morning coffee and a side yard removed from the water where the little kids could play. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. There was a large gathering space with high ceilings. It was very fun being right across from Frye Island, which has a great restaurant and bar.

Room with a view

The house was everything I expected. It was clean, well maintained, the owner addressed every question immediately, it was ideally located at the end of the road, right on the water. It was a wonderful place to make memories. The kids had a blast and even when I needed to work, the den overlooked the lake. Best office view that I’ve ever had.

10/10 in every way. The combination of water access, great house, wonderful outside spaces, and flexible layout made this house perfect for 2 families traveling together. The water is perfect for swimming right off the dock - clean, clear and deep at the end of the dock which was fun for diving/jumping in. We rented a boat for a few days and kept it at the mooring which was easy to use. We all enjoyed watching the boat traffic on the channel and the Frye island ferry go back and forth. We also caught a bunch of small bass from the dock which was fun for all of us. This was probably the best house we've ever rented! Thank you!

We could not have lucked out with a better spot. Nothing to complain about. Gorgeous setting, terrific sunsets, good pool. Minuscule room for improvement: a longer ladder into the water at the end of the dock would have helped with getting back ashore.

Wonderful house and location

Lovely, cozy, well stocked house with incredible lake views and deck! Hotel style amenities with robes, nice towels, and slippers. Beautiful welcome basket. The dock and lake were perfect and the hosts were communicative and helpful. Note for future renters as I did not feel this was clear in the listing — there is only air conditioning on the bedroom levels. The main living area (living room, dining area, kitchen) has no AC. We had the bad luck to be there on a week with a few days in the 90s and it was pretty unpleasant. One of our family members has lupus and was confined to AC levels on the hot days. Other than this issue the house was perfect for our family trip!

Perfect place!

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience! The rental process was quick & easy, the house was beautiful, super clean, well-stocked & comfortable & the property itself was private and quiet with a lovely view. The owner was easily accessible/easy to communicate with. She went above & beyond, when I left my iPad at the property & she had it in the mail to me the next day! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent in the area, and my family & I plan on doing so again, the next time we are in Maine.

Gorgeous Waterfront Getaway

A simple breath of fresh air. This home has it all! Just like in a 5 star-hotel, the beds were made, towels, robes and slippers left out and a beautiful welcome basket upon arrival. The lake water is crystal clear. The dock is very well kept. This comfortable home has everything needed to enjoy peaceful days.
