Relax with your whole family at this peaceful, serene, lake view home in the woods. Sip your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the peaceful lake inlet, admire the deer as they pass on by, and enjoy all the hiking, fun, and numerous activities this area has to offer. Whether you want to swim in the summer or ski in the winter, this lake home can be your central refuge and launching point. We hope you enjoy the home and create wonderful memories. Enjoy!
The space
This home has two floors. The top floor has: 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, one additional twin rollaway bed, and a living room with a queen sofa sleeper, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen (with two separate sinks and food prep locations!). It also has a large dining table, and a window with some beautiful (partial) lake views.
The downstairs floor has a bedroom with a large California King bed, and a second small living room containing a mini kitchenette with countertop, 2 burner electric stove, and sink. The downstairs also has a full bath (toilet with shower) and a separate laundry room.
Guest access
You will have full access to the home, but please don't open locked cabinets or boxes marked "owner".
Also, the multi-level decks wrap around and there is a path that winds down very close to the water's edge. (At that point, our property is very narrow so please make sure not to go onto neighboring property as there is no direct lake access from this property.) If you want to swim in the lake, we ask that you instead go to drive to public access points . PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO DOCK AND NO DIRECT WATER ACCESS FOR GUESTS FROM OUR PROPERTY. If you wish to partake in water activities, please drive to a nearest public access point, such as the Tulloch Day Use Recreation Area at 7430 O'Byrnes Ferry Rd, a 16 minute drive. We hope you enjoy our serene, quiet environment and wish you a great stay!
Other things to note
Please do not park in the cul-de-sac, but instead park in the driveway or at the top of the driveway. And again, we'd like to request that you enjoy the peaceful and quiet neighborhood and all the beauty the forest/lake environment has to offer. We just ask that you do not go onto any neighboring properties and keep voices quiet in consideration of the year-round neighbors. Thanks!
