Spacious ~2700 sqft lakefront home on Cedar Hedge Lake — an all sports lake located in Interlochen! 6 Bedroom (3 bedrooms located in expansive bunk room!) with 9 beds total, and 2 bathrooms — perfect for larger groups or family get-togethers! Only minutes from downtown Traverse City, this lakehouse features two living areas facing the lake, an expansive patio with hot tub open year-round — perfect for entertaining — and central A/C! Fenced in yard, updated kitchen, and even a swimming platform!

We are here to make your stay feel like home - feel free to contact us with any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time in beautiful Northern Michigan!

Guests have access to the whole home during their stay. Please note the garage is not available for guests use.

The driveway can accommodate a about 6 cars. All vehicles, boats and trailers must be parked in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted. Please note there is no parking at all on the grass as the septic field is located in the front yard and parking on it can damage the septic system.

New listing! This expansive home can be found just southwest of Traverse City with private waterfront on Cedar Hedge Lake. Enjoy outdoor dining on the expansive patio, a day spent enjoying the hot tub, or head down to the water to enjoy a swim!

Bring your boat with you, or rent from one of the many boat rental companies in the area! We can offer recommendations - feel free to reach out!

This is a spacious home with 6 bedrooms (3 beds located in an expansive bunk room) and 2 full baths.

On the main floor is the first bedroom with queen bed and a crib. This floor also features the laundry room, 2 separate waterfront-facing sitting rooms & kitchen facing the water, and first full bathroom.

Upstairs you'll find the king bedroom, queen bedroom, second full bathroom, and huge connecting bunk room with 2 more bedrooms (1 full and 1 queen)and 2 twin bunk beds. Tons of space to spread out!

The home includes all the amenities you’d hope to find to make your vacation feel like a home-away-from-home, such as a coffee maker, SmartTVs in nearly every room, WiFi, and including plenty of towels, and linens.

Local Wineries and Breweries are open year-round if you are looking to grab a beer, a bottle of wine, or try a flight!

Great multi family vacation stay. The bunk room was excellent for the kids. The den area served as a nice gathering space. House is larger than presented in photos. Lots of amenities to enjoy the lake and outdoor space. Relatively convenient location to many area sites and attractions.

Wonderful Place for a Big Family Getaway

This property easily accommodated 10 adults with plenty of spaces to be together and have some alone time. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and kayaking on the lake. The hosts are super responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Fun on Tranquil Lake

This was our best VRBO experience so far. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. The amenities: kayaks, canoe, paddle boards and fishing poles were at the ready. Our teens put them to good use. The house was nicely kept and well supplied with kitchen and bathroom needs. All ten of us had a most enjoyable stay.

Lake house

This place was a great location to Traverse City and the surrounding area. There were plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The outdoor space was wonderful with lots of seating and we definitely used the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The only downside was that to access three of the upstairs bedrooms you had go through the bathroom which was very awkward.

Great place to stay

Excellent cabin for an up north retreat. With 5 bedrooms, a bunk room, and 2 living rooms there's enough space to comfortably fit 3 families. The space was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the patio was nice, and the hot tub fit 4 adults easily. Our host was quick to respond and helpful. Overall this was one of the best vacation rental experiences I've had

fantastic lake

Our favorite part of the stay was the cool clean water of this inland lake. The loon on the lake was special. We caught lots of fish, we would paddle into the deeper water to swim.

Great place for a family reunion

This was a wonderful place for our family (7 adults, 3 children). The outdoor space is amazing with lake access, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards available. Or grandson also loved fishing off if the swim platform. We all loved the hot tub too. It is a peaceful place with so much room to spread out. This part of Michigan has so much to see and do. We can’t wait to come back.

Awesome outdoor living

The porch, deck, hot tub, fire pit, canoe, paddle boards and kayaks were the highlights for activities! The huge indoor Family Room let all 12 of us comfortably watch movies together. Owners need a few more dishes and to make sure the porch and deck are clean. We highly recommend this property.

The house was well stocked with everything and more that a large family would need! The kids loved swimming in the lake, fishing off the dock and riding in the canoes and kayaks that are provided. Our 4 grandchildren (ages 3-9) loved the bunk room for “cousin camp”. The neighbors were also super friendly and provided us with kindling to start our nightly bonfires for s’mores in the fire ring on the back patio. Beth and Keegan were quick to respond to any question or concern. The house location is perfect, about 29 minute drive to Traverse City.

Annual Girl’s Weekend

There were 9 one night 10 the next night. Accommodations slept us all very comfortably. Kitchen is well equipped with everything even a toaster oven and crockpot. Place is cozy we used the fireplace and the hot tub. Beautiful sunrise off the lake!! Highly recommend.

We had a great week at the lake. The house was very clean and had plenty of towels and linens. We brought our own beach towels.During our stay the washer wasn’t working, but we notified the owners and they were going to have some fix it. The location was great. Cedar Hedge lake is small with great fishing, and the kids enjoyed taking the paddle boards annd kayaks out to swim in the deeper parts of the lake. There were plenty of life vests for everyone.The house is only 30 minutes from Lake Michigan, and we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Point Betsie lighthouse, and Glen Arbor. There were a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella which came in handy those days.Lots of places to eat within a short drive, Oakies down the road was great, as well

Family lake vacation

House had great living space. The 1and 2 person kayak and canoe were awesome. Grateful there were some fishing poles. The grandkids loved fish off platform and dock. The floating platform was great for swimming and jumping and fishing. There is an infant, and 3 kid life vests. Wish had known number of kid ones as we had 4 (7,7,6,5) needing for boats/kayaks. The upstairs room with bunks and 2 separate rooms was interesting cause the 2 separate rooms have odd opening like a window into bunks area with only curtains but have doors. So all noise from bunk area was all heard in these rooms. The house needs separate towels for lake and spa from bath towels. White towels not good outside. Kitchen really needs new large skillet ( one there is Teflon is all scratched up). Could use some smaller left over dishes.and kitchen towels not bath towels and rag for kitchen. Suggestion of more blankets. Many people like to lay on couches while watch tv with blankets or sit outside with them on legs. There were 2 small blankets. Suggest an extra sheet and blanket for sleeping on down stairs It was the quietest area. Love the rocking chairs on porch. Spa was enjoyable but really should have had chlorine in the floater.

Gorgeous home with lots of room for big groups and lots of amenities. Big back patio with a gas grill, fire pit, & hot tub and a beautiful lake view with a dock for boats or fishing. Plenty of watercraft available onsite as well such as paddle boards & canoes. Our party of 9 had lots of fun boating & fishing on the lake and relaxing on the back patio and enjoying the view and various wildlife. Overall great experience. Would do it again.
