Stacy, we are re so sorry about your concerns and that you were upset with the actions we took to resolve your concerns. But I have to admit that you started COMPLAINING prior to your stay. First, you said the taxes and fees charged by VRBO were too high and you wanted us to lower them even though you already had a very low rate for this time of year. Then you requested us to do a FREE early check-in which did. Then the night prior to CHECK-IN you told us that you were bringing a DOG! Who does that? We were unaware that the toilet flapper was malfunctioning as you told us but we sent someone to fix it ASAP – so yes this is our fault but we were unaware that this broke until you reported it to us. The unit was rented right before you and nobody complained about it. Same situation with the switch/outlet. Unfortunately, properties like this one that are located close the beach will have issues more frequently than those that are further inland. We do routine maintenance on a regular basis but some issues arise during guest stays which we apologize for in advance and we will always resolve quickly. Because you were unhappy from the onset with the taxes, etc. then the toilet issue I figured I would upgrade you to a Home in the same complex that was freshly remodeled which normally is almost twice the cost of what you originally paid! This was done solely as a customer service gesture for which you DENIED this offer. Then I offered you a free nights stay and or a late checkout – both of which you DENIED. I wish you well with your future stays but we kindly request that you do not request to stay at any of our properties in the future.
