Blue Heron Private Retreat in heart of New Buffalo- pool opens mid-May

Feel like you're tucked away with an outdoor space that mirrors a resort while being close to all the New Buffalo action. Property includes an oversized/commercial new (2020) heated pool with steps across, larger outdoor space with large deck and gazebo area, sunbathing areas surrounded by lush landscaping. Large firepit area, chipping green/regulation cornhole/game area and huge elevated sunporch with vaulted ceilings nestled among the trees overlooking a large park with playground, walking trails, track, pickleball and tennis courts, skate park, etc. Plenty of space to dine outside under the umbrella, sun or trees.

Similar to Property 1580568 and 1184533, this property has been completely rehabbed and stocked with every amenity in mind.

Inside you'll find a large living room with sectional and Queen pullout sofa bed, dining room with table for 8, plus a separate table with additional seating and island, new kitchen (2021) and full bath on the main floor.

Heading upstairs is another full bathroom, Bedroom 1: Queen bedroom and Bedroom 2: King bed, vaulted ceilings and a twin daybed with pullout twin.

From the main floor, head downstairs to the 3rd level with Bedroom 3: King leading out to the deck overlooking the pool and a 3rd full size bath.

In the basement you’ll find an office with a large tv and daybed as well as a 5th game room with foosball table and laundry room. There is an extra fridge in the garage.

All but the Queen bedroom have smart Tv's equipped with access to all major channels (YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc). Because of the layout with the separate floors each room feels like it's own private wing. Please note that this is an older house so the ceiling height in the basement is lower and that steps are required to access all levels. Each of the bedrooms has its own AC controls.

You're located within a few blocks of Redamaks and downtown, across from the park with all of it's amenities and with a double lot/fenced in yard to enjoy the heated pool in complete privacy.

The home is well stocked so you can leave everything at home, from beach towels and toys, bikes, kitchen gadgets, linens, toiletries, etc. As discerning travelers, everything is setup to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We are conveniently located 1.1 miles from the beach, 0.3 miles from Redamaks, 0.5 miles from downtown New Buffalo shops and restaurants as well as a few miles from Four Winds Casino, a quick drive to the Warren Dunes and/or Michigan City Prime Outlets or zoo. Notre Dame is only a 40 min drive and Chicago is a little over an hour drive or train ride.

Whether antiquing, doing a winery or brewery tour, hitting the casino, riding the bike trails, exploring the shops or beach, enjoying smores by the firepit looking at the stars, and/or simply relaxing by the pool we have something for everyone!
