Unwind at this coastal apartment with view of Posession Sound. This second floor apartment was renovated in 2022 for a peaceful, spacious and uniquely PNW feel. Enjoy sunsets from the patio or walk 5 minutes to Lighthouse Park.

There is a king size bed and a twin bed in the bedroom and an air mattress. Bathroom has a walk in shower. Full kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer in apartment,

The house is located in Old Town Mukilteo steps from Red Cup Cafe, Sully's Pizza, Rosehill Community Center and more. Minutes from Boeing and I-5.
The Blue Heron Guest Suite is perfect if you're in town for business or pleasure.

Amazing little space. Everything was extremely clean and well thought out. We loved looking over the water and watching the ferry go back and forth. The shops and restaurants all around the space were all very nice and convenient. We will definitely be back!

Charming, contemporary apartment with stunning views.

Beautiful and thoughtfully appointed apartment with a coastal vibe and panoramic views of the Puget Sound. Impeccably clean and very comfortable. Situated close to a variety of locally owned stores and restaurants. We would recommend this ‘home away from home’ without reservation!

This house is pure perfection! Wonderful location, perfectly appointed with everything you need. So many little details were thought of. The view....Beautiful! Close to great food/shops. There is nothing to say but yes, you should book this gem.

The Blue Heron is beautifully conceived and maintained. Understated style, clean lines and super clean housekeeping top to bottom, lots of daylight and serene view of Puget Sound sunsets, located on hillside above beach, ferry, and shops/restaurants, it is perfect. We stayed in this apartment for over two weeks. The views from the living room and balcony are breathtaking. You have a charming nature gift store underneath the apartment, an amazing cafe to the left and a chocolate store to the right. In front of that, a pizza place. My husband is an introvert and never really noticed that there were people below us and I was worried that would bug him. It was just so quiet and peaceful. A quick walk down and you are at the water and the cute beach and lighthouse. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and we loved having the whole place to ourselves. This apartment has been remodeled and it is pristine! I will not forget the views or the soft breeze from the sound while we slept. Perfection. We are truly sad that we live so far away or we would be booking this for all of our getaways.

Welcome to the Blue Heron. We are so happy to have you as a guest and we hope that you have a fantastic stay.

We are Jason and Kris Hammer and we live in Mukilteo with our three kids, two dogs and two parakeets.

When we moved here in 2011 we sat at the Red Cup Cafe next door and talked about how much we loved this area and this building in particular. In 2017, Kris opened the Nature Together Shop (below the Blue Heron) and in 2021 we had the opportunity to buy the building.

The second floor apartment was completely renovated into the Blue Heron Guest Suite.

If you are new to the Mukilteo, we welcome you and are excited to share the community and area with you. If you've been here before, welcome back. We hope this is the best trip you've had here.
