Beautiful and the most clean home we’ve ever stayed in. Close to Baylor University (in which we were there for) & many other fun places to visit. So many wonderful characteristics to this lovely home and Rebecca, our hostess, is exceptional. Definitely looking forward to staying again in the future.

This is a really cute house. They have done an amazing job renovating this a house and really appreciate all the nice touches in the house. The house has a great backyard and is quiet. It is on Clay, but with the 2 empty lots on each side - it’s so quiet and private. Clay is a busier street but also allows you to get around easily. We will definitely stay here again. We normally like to have 2 bathrooms, but this worked really well for us and our pups loved the yard, thank you for opening up your house to us so we could come visit our Bear!

Adorable little house, close to everything, loved the fire pit outside. Would definitely stay here again, the only negative was the bed— it was very firm, too firm for our liking.

Im sorry hear the mattress was to firm. Its a foam mattress and you are 1st to mention that. I Will take a look at it. We Strive to make the kost comfortable stay for our guest.

The home was very clean and just like the photos. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cook wear, utensils. The home was perfect for our needs. The only drawback is the house is on a busy street, and the front yard is not fenced so we had to be a bit careful with our dog in the event of a squirrel sighting.

The place was very comfy and clean!! Above all very cute and cozy!! The birds sang every morning and night but I love birds so didn’t bother me!! Will stay here again!!

Girls’ Trip to Magnolia

The Clay Avenue Cottage was very cozy, and we enjoyed every minute there. Rebecca was very quick to respond to our questions and offered suggestions for shopping, restaurants and antique stores.

Perfect stay in a perfect home!

We had the best weekend staying in Clay Oak Cottage! The home offers everything needed for a relaxing weekend. It has comfortable beds and linens, incredible kitchen and a beautiful backyard. Communication was easy and the host was very accommodating. We plan on staying here again…it’s definitely a 5 star location, home and experience!

The house is so cute, designed beautifully. Everything was on point. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with everything you need and it’s all quality. The house was immaculately clean! Great location as well.

Weekend Getaway

Visited Waco for an event at the convention center. This place was awesome. The host was very attentive and provided us with recommendations for food and activities. Home had everything we needed for our stay and was very pet friendly. If you like to bike or run, the hike and bike trails along the river were great.

Wonderful cottage

This cottage was a wonderful option for our stay in Waco. We were there for 2 days mid week and had a great time. Its location was convenient to all the sightseeing I had planned and the cottage was very comfortable. Our pug loved it as well, especially the fenced backyard and the front porch for relaxing. Rebecca was a great host, lots of info in advance and quick to respond to questions.

Impeccable!!

We’ve stated many rentals in Waco as we have two kids at Baylor and this has been the best so far. Great hosts! Great living space and location! We & our dog loved the backyard!!. Our new home in Waco when we visit for the next four years!

Perfect Girls Trip

This is the cutest little cottage, with a super peaceful backyard space - the photos don’t do it justice! My mom, sister, my 2 dogs, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This home away from home set the perfect scene for a weekend of Magnolia, The Silos, shopping, and wine tours! The cottage had everything we needed, from comfy beds, plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, fans, etc. Thanks for a great experience and place to lay our heads!

Cute- clean property

The house was clean and inviting. We enjoyed the comforts of home while staying here. The back yard is fenced in with a gate equipped with a security code to enter. If you choose to walk, the property is close to the downtown area and Magnolia Market. The owner provides details closer to your arrival such as passcode to enter the home, security gate and address. She also provides information on places to see and restaurants to check out. We had a pleasant experience here at Clay Oak Cottage.

Fabulous family weekend

We celebrated my adult daughter’s birthday with 3 generations of family women. The house was super cute and clean, and Rebecca did not miss a trick with furnishings. There was a coffee bar with everything you could imagine, and even dark colored washcloths for makeup removal. I actually forgot my toothbrush, and she had extras! Only wish that it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the awesome back yard fire pit. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Cottage Stay

What a lovely little cottage for our mother/daughter/aunt trip! Bright, airy, refreshing, quaint, and spacious. Exactly as pictured but even better. Such attention to detail. Perfectly located, everything we planned to do (Magnolia Market and restaurants) within a 5 minute drive. We didn’t have a chance to use the backyard space but the front porch swing and rockers were very inviting/relaxing. We took Rebecca’s advice on restaurants: had a great seafood dinner on the river at Brazos Landing (reservation made), breakfast at Milo’s All Day (reservation absolutely needed), and dinner at Diamondback Steakhouse (reservation made). Each were fabulous. Leaving Magnolia Market we dropped into the Backyard Bar and Grill for some outdoor patio music and drinks. It was the perfect little weekend in Waco and the house was a large part of that.

The Cottage is very cute and well-maintained. It looks just like the pictures advertise. The host, Rebecca, is an excellent communicator and very helpful. She is extremely responsive and was nearly conversing in real-time via VRBO chat. We had our dog with us, and the house is very dog friendly, including a spacious, fenced-in backyard.
