Beautiful country villa in the heart of Tuscany within the Commune of Montalcino in the Province of Siena. It sits between the villages of San Giovanni d’Asso (2.5km) famous for white truffles and Montisi (3.5km), a stunning medieval hilltop village in the picturesque Val d’Orcia. Here you can enjoy the views of rolling hills and cypress-lined roads at our doorstep. Enjoy the home's rustic charm with typical wood beams and tile floors, but also the modern conveniences like air conditioning in every room, dishwasher, clothes washer and smart TV with Netflix, Disney Plus and Blu Ray player. Nearby, you can check out the local vineyards and taste the best Tuscan wines or visit the local markets, village festivals, and amazing restaurants!

Peaceful getaway

Enjoyed 10 relaxing days at Villa Montisi, a very clean and comfortable property with a lovely pool and garden. Also an excellent base to explore the local towns and stunning scenery (with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Siena all within easy reach) and to enjoy the wonderful food and wine the region has to offer. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location, easy to see the Val d’Orcia at your leisure

We had stayed at this property for years before Jennifer purchased it. And do hope to continue. We appreciate the effort and care to details she put into updating it and providing an excellent experience. This property is well located to see numerous villages in the area.

We enjoyed 9 fabulous nights at the Villa, five with our daughter, her husband and our two grand-children. The views speak for themselves. And it was wonderful to come back to a refreshing pool after visiting local towns. Jo, the local property manager, was very helpful and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was outstanding! All rooms were very clean and comfortable. The area was ideal for exploring Tuscany, and everything we wanted to do and see was within a 2 hour drive. Most of what we wanted to see and do was within 1 hour. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, which allowed individuals to set their own comfort level. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook many meals using local ingredients from the farmers markets in the area. The largest grocery store (COOP) was a 20 minute drive and a smaller one about 5 minutes away. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions and made recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and points of interest in the area.We spent one month at the villa and were extremely happy with our choice. We would HIGHLY recommend this villa for anyone traveling to the area. We will definitely stay here anytime we travel to this part of Italy.We want to thank the hosts for providing us with this wonderful accommodation that allowed us to enjoy our amazing trip.John and Shar

Wir können die Unterkunft "Villa Montisi" uneingeschränkt empfehlen: traumhafte Lage und Blick, alles sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Jo, der Verwalter vor Ort, war uns ein echter und sehr netter Ansprechpartner. Der Abschied ist uns sehr schwer gefallen.

For us, this area is heaven and our dream became reality when we made Villa Montisi our second home. We hope you choose to step though the doors and make yourself at home here - kick up your feet, and relax with a glass of Brunello as you take in the panoramic views. If we can provide you with any assistance in planning your stay or if you have questions, please contact us. We also have a local host, Jo, who lives nearby. He speaks, Italian, English and German.
