Worst. VRBO. Ever.

I was really excited to stay at this property. It looks so nice! However the beautiful new building is situated in a very rough area of DC. We arrived in the late afternoon and a party was just getting started next door. Medium sized crowd, loud music with strong bass line. I ordered some DoorDash and the driver got out, looked at me, looked around, and asked "Are you okay?" But I was still hopeful that everything would be fine. It wasn't. The party went until nearly 4am with escalating yelling and arguing, punctuated with multiple cars rolling up, revving engines loudly and doing burnouts in the alleyway right outside. Lots of sirens near to the building. There was a loud car crash which we saw the aftermath of the next morning. No one got much sleep. Since my family was literally scared to stay at the property, I found a new rental at midnight and moved us over there the next day, leaving two nights before our scheduled departure.Finally, there is no outdoor pool. There is no fitness center or gym as stated in the listing. Basically this was a big old waste of almost 1,000 USD. Stay elsewhere. Literally anywhere else.

Inaccurate description of property amenities

We were so excited to stay here. The property was in a neighborhood about 15 min drive from the Capital. We ate at Dennys (3 min drive) where the bathrooms were locked up. The waitress said someone was shot in the bathroom a few days prior and that’s why they were locking them. The interior looked the same as the pictures. I don’t think their cleaning people are that good. The floors were FILTHY! There was no outdoor pool or gym. The prop manager provided me some a vague map with DIRECTIONS to the pool and as for the gym, we were told there were weights, a floor mat and a stepper in the master closet. When we checked, none of those things were available. The rooftop…all the wicker furniture was unusable. There was no padding for the chairs which were torn apart. I have pictures of all of this including the multitudes of flies that we killed inside the property. The provided parking space was a joke. We had a midsize car and we still could not get into it due to the posts that were at the end of the space. We were told that they had SUVs parking in that spot. I would LOVE to see pictures of that. It could ONLY be possible if the SUV drove onto the backyard of another property which had garbage scattered all over. God only knows what damage that would do to your tires. If u r expecting amenities and a good neighborhood, this is not for you.
