Stanley Stays - The Valley Creek Cabin

Valley Creek Cabin is a comfortable two-bedroom mountain retreat located about 4.5 miles west of downtown Stanley. Set among the trees on a peaceful 1.3-acre property shared with two other cabins, it offers plenty of space to relax while keeping you close to the Sawtooths and Stanley’s year-round recreation.

The cabin sleeps up to six guests with two bedrooms and three beds. The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full-size bed. With two full bathrooms, Valley Creek is especially convenient for families or groups traveling together.

Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with an island, a four-person dining table, a comfortable living room with a Roku TV, and a washer and dryer. Outside, relax on the covered patio beside the gas fire pit and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting and clear night skies of the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve.

Valley Creek Cabin provides easy access to Stanley Lake, Iron Creek Trailhead, Redfish Lake, Valley Creek, and Park Creek. In summer, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating, and exploring the surrounding mountains. In winter, there is room for a snowmobile trailer, access to a nearby groomed snowmobile route, and the Park Creek cross-country ski trails are approximately three miles away.

With its spacious layout, two bathrooms, quiet setting, and convenient access to outdoor recreation, Valley Creek Cabin makes a comfortable home base for your Stanley getaway.

We are Josh and Inga, a husband-and-wife team who own and operate this family-run vacation rental business located in the heart of Stanley, Idaho.

We’ve lived year-round in Stanley since 2008 and it’s been the perfect place for us to raise our two daughters, Elzie and Luiza and our beloved family dog, Ellie.

We are both outdoor enthusiasts who love to hike, fish, ski, ice skate, and explore the stunning landscapes of Idaho and beyond. Josh is a native Idahoan who grew up in Boise and Challis, while Inga is from Telenesti, Moldova who first discovered Stanley during a visit as an international student in 2007.

In 2017, we purchased our first vacation rental property, The Wall Street Cabin, and since then we’ve been dedicated to providing our guests with a memorable and stress-free vacation experience. As avid travelers ourselves, we know how important it is to feel comfortable and welcome in a new place. That’s why we go above and beyond to ensure that each of our cabins is designed with thoughtful amenities and cozy accommodations.

The cabin itself offers comfortable accommodations with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. It also includes a covered patio with a gas firepit for relaxing after a day of adventures. The property is located on the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve, making it an excellent place for stargazing. Finally, the cabin provides easy access to snowmobiling during winter months and cross-country skiing at Park Creek Cross Country ski trails, located only 3 miles away.
