Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The amenities were abundant, the house was well stocked, the towels and bedding were so comfortable and everything about the home was everything we wanted and more. The area is fabulous and the townspeople were friendly and welcoming. We would love to come back and would absolutely stay here again!

This home is incredible on so many levels. The photos truly do not do it justice .. the owners have done an impressive job of ensuring that all essentials are available. Our family cooked most meals during our stay, which was a breeze with the fully stocked kitchen. We had a perfect getaway stay - thank you, Wendy

Everything was clean; all glassware, furniture, beds, etc. Stunning and gorgeous great room providing a great opportunity for the families to relax and admire the Sawtooth mountains thru the window as if they could easily be touched. Plenty of parking. Easy drive to Redfish Lake. Highly recommend to others, and we will be back.

We have lived in the Wood River valley most of our lives and spent many many days and nights in the Stanley area. This house is a gem. It's a perfect house for a family and social gathering. The owner,Jim, was very helpful with all our needs.

Escape to Stanley

The cabin was perfect for our family of 6 with plenty of room to spare. It is ideally located in a quiet, gated enclave of hillside cabins, with plenty of privacy and open space in between. Like Stanley itself, it is the perfect, secluded hideaway to serve as a home base for everything you want to do along the Sawtooths. It exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return.

Better than Expected

We were really excited about the property in general but when we arrived it exceeded our expectations. The thought and detail into the amenities was noticed. Everything was so clean and in operating condition. It was nice to fire up the smoker to make dinner and have it be clean and just ready to go. The pictures didn't do it justice. Rooms were cozy, the large living room was great for our crew to be comfortable hang out with each other. Definitely would stay again.

This is an outstanding property. It is a fully stocked big home. We totally enjoyed our stay. The view of the Sawtooths is amazing. We’d happily stay there again. Only issue was we started to BbQ before we realized the propane was empty—but we got more propane and all was well.

The whole family gathered in Stanley to celebrate my husband’s and my 50th wedding anniversary. We had 10 in our party and the house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, the pool table and hot tub were a huge hit and the location was perfect. Watching the fireworks from the patio doesn’t get much better. Anyone staying here couldn’t go wrong and we will be back!

We are a repeat guest, which already says a lot about how much we enjoy staying here. The home is private and secluded, but at the same time just minutes away from fishing, hiking, canoeing, or grabbing an exceptional bite in "town." (I highly recommend Stanley Baking Company, Sawtooth Hotel Restaurant, Papa Brunee's Pizza and Stanley Supper Club. They are all 5-10 minutes away and you won't be disappointed.) And if you want to just hang around the house, it is hard to beat coffee or lunch on the deck with an obstructed view of the incredible Sawtooth Mountains. The main family room is a great gathering spot for everyone to relax on the reclining sofa at the end of a busy day and watch a movie on the XL big screen tv. The home also has plenty of room if you want to escape for a break, reading, or even catch-up on work, if you must. Everyone played pool, table shuffleboard and horseshoes. We also enjoyed a night out at the firepit roasting marshmallows. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's; however, this one is special and feels like a home away from home. It is hard to leave. Wendy is also a top-notch host. Thank you again Wendy. Don't change a thing!
