The cleaning fee includes towels and linens for your stay; however, you will want to bring your own beach / pool towels. While we do provide some items to get you started, here is a list of a few other things we want to remind you to bring:

Jacuzzi is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All children must be supervised in the water at all times by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc. are allowed in or around the jacuzzi.

*Please note the 5% processing fee of the total reservation amount is non-refundable after booking*

You must be at least 25 years old to book and if your group is not related, no one can be under the age of 25 years old.

The home itself and views were amazing. We enjoyed lounging on the dock watching the boats and birds. However, every exterior surface was filthy and required cleaning before we could enjoy. Some interior surfaces were dusty and dirty as well, including light fixtures and lampshades. House needed significant maintenance, including removing cobwebs and cleaning dirty windows that diminished the beautiful view. Water pressure in Master Bath was non-existent, forcing guests to use other sinks and showers, and several items were broken, including the dirty coffee maker, outside umbrella, hot tub cover, tripod on telescope, several lamps with burned out bulbs, moldy, filthy outdoor cushions that we didn’t want to sit on, among other things. For the over 2600.00 price tag for 3 nights we expected more. It also would have been helpful to clearly explain the location of the lock box without having to call and ask. For that reason, we would not recommend until the homeowners or management company addressed the much needed repairs and attention the home and guests deserve.

Family vacation

A beautiful location! For true lake lovers, the outdoor amenities were fantastic. Huge boathouse, excellent swimming, fire pit, hot tub with amazing views, hammock/rocking chairs for reading, plenty of space for yard games, and INCREDIBLE sunsets. Spacious and comfortable inside with a well-stocked kitchen and lots of room to spread out, yet still be together. Would definitely return!

Peaceful and Beautiful

This was a beautiful stay at Wake and Lake. If you want a gorgeous view, all the amenities and comfy accommodations this is the house for you. We loved having a hot tub, fire pit and a beautiful view from everywhere. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The staff was also always attentive to us if we had any questions. Thanks for.a great stay!

Beautiful location and great house

We booked this property to give a farewell to a friend and family and spend some fun time together. The house is beautiful and the location cannot be more perfect, being right on the lake with a deck to enjoy the serenity of the views. It snowed the day we arrived and that multiplied to the charm (even though it meant we could spend less time outdoors). Amenities are thoughtfully provided. The only negatives, minor in nature, were that some furniture/beds were in worn out condition and at risk of breaking apart, so we had to be extra careful, especially because of children. The property management was easy to reach out to but for most queries on issues related to the property, they had to put us on wait until they heard from "operations team" which felt a little annoying. The details regarding access code was not clear: upon reaching, we found that the main door did not have a keyless entry, so we tried the garage and we got lucky that the code worked for the garage door. We left one of our belongings behind at the property and contacted the management but they never followed through. Nevertheless, they accommodated request for a late check out and we had an unforgettable time at the property. On behalf of our party, I'd like to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us for this stay.

Spacious and Great Outdoor Amenities

This house was perfect for our large family gathering. The number of bedrooms and beds was perfect - although one more bathroom on the lower level would have been nice, we made do just fine. The outdoor area is great and we loved the nice level yard that led to the lake, in particular for our smallest family members. We went in the winter so didn't get to enjoy the water, but we loved the view and did have nice enough weather to sit on the various decks. We had a small issue with the hot tub during our stay that precluded us from using it, but it didn't detract overall from our stay. We would recommend and definitely come back!

Amazing lake house

We take one sibling trip a year and this year we picked your home. It offered everything we were looking for and more. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your home and using the dock for fishing. The views were incredible.

The name suits well. Wake N Lake.

It was a friends and family gathering. Nice place and surroundings. Right on waterfront. Can’t complain how easy it was to access water. Kayak’s, paddle boards, the biggg floating mat all added to the fun. Great property. We had good time. An opportunity to reconcile property manager clean up instructions to what was posted inside the property. I ended up paying a cleanup penalty on top of heavy cleaning fees paid upfront because of this confusion. On checkin bathroom trashcans were not completely emptied. You will run out of hot water if having a large group. Other than that We had a good time and will recommend to all my friends. Best of all pet friendly and my pet had a good time too.

Great Location and Property

Overall a great property and location. We had a great time on the dock and using the water pad. Plenty of room to tie up the boat and jetski. Didn't get to use the firepit and hottub since it was too hot all week. House has plenty of room for big groups to spread out. Just a few maintenance items that dropped our stay to just below a 5 rating. Property manager was responsive and the AC got fixed while we were there and acknowledged that they'll look into replacing the garage fridge and grills. Would definitely stay again

Great Location

The location was the perfect setting. The property manager was absolutely fantastic, they responded straight away to ANY / ALL inquiries. And apologized if something wasn’t as we anticipated. The only reason I’m giving this total stay was because when we arrived there was a horrible smell in the house. Even after our normal Lysol spray down it still lingered. After committing to find the smell, we located a uncooked type of meat in the bottom oven (warmer) We texted the PM, although they t replied immediately saying they would have someone there to remove it within the hour, we waited more than 2hours, and carried on with dinner plans. After we returned, the smell lingered on! Other than this, the entire time of our stay was wonderful.

Amazing Space and Views!

Wake n Lake is a beautiful, spacious home on a peaceful lot with amazing views of the lake. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfy. The kitchen is very well stocked. We especially enjoyed the boat house area fishing for catfish, kayaking around the lake, s’mores at the fire pit, and ending the nights with a game of pool! A perfect place for a family vacation!

Families gathered Together

We gathered to meet our future son in law’s family. We loved having the 2 large dining tables available. We did put them together. We appreciated the couch seating around the fireplace! We all played charades together there. Some fished and kayaked while others hung out in the hot tub or around the fire pit. The views of the lake and the property are so peaceful and beautiful. Beds, kitchen and bathrooms all worked for our group of 14 adults and 2 children.

Perfect family Thanksgiving getaway

This was the perfect setting to gather for the Thanksgiving holiday. The property has an incredible lake view. The kitchen was equipped for us to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. There were more than enough beds for the eleven of us. We enjoyed the entire house, from the large kitchen, the pool table, the spacious comfortable living room, the two large dining tables, and the hot tub and fire pit.

Our family thinks it's the best

Fantastic house and location. The house and point are right on the main lake. AND even though it is on the main lake, it is slightly indented and stays very calm at the boat house. The other great thing about the location is the lot is level and can be traversed by old and young alike. There is a great fire pit (rain kept us from using it) and a big and inviting hot tub. The teen agers liked the kayaks and the swim float. The house is huge with room for everyone. We enjoyed the rainy days and everyone had plenty of space to do their own thing. The house is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths for everyone. There is also one huge plus - all the beds are very comfortable. We have stayed in five lovely homes at Lake Gaston and the family says this is the very best. They all want to come back next year.
