The Castle is a 5,000 SF 9 Bedroom 5 bath house with 14 beds. Located in St Matthews you are walking distance to some of the best restaurants and entertainment in the city, as well as a grocery store, coffee shops, and other shopping. You wont need a vehicle past arrival.

The outdoor area is what makes this property special. There is a large private courtyard with a large putting green and patio with a fire pit. The patio flows into a 1,000 SF game room with ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, pop a shot, corn hole, and a 65 in TV,

Daniel was a fabulous host, and the house was lovely and just perfect for our group of 11 women from all over the country. I highly recommend this home and location to anyone visiting Louisville, the Bourbon Trail & Keeneland! Thanks so much, Daniel!!

Home was as described. It’s amazing and easily accommodated our group of 15 adults. Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Before check-in, owner provided a list of recommendations which was greatly appreciated. Outdoor patio was perfect and we were all able to hang out in the evenings. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Louisville Gem

Overall it was a great house, great location, and great communication with the owner. For what we needed, everything was either within walking distance or a 15-20min drive. The attention to detail and pictures posted are an accurate reflection of the house. Very clean and spacious. We would certainly stay there again.

Really the perfect spot for a family get-a-way in Louisville!

Simply perfect in all aspects! We were in Louisville for a wedding and our 2 children and husbands joined us for a long weekend. Daniel really went out of his way to reach out to me the week before our arrival, came by to introduce himself the afternoon we checked in, and even dropped off a vase because I had bought fresh flowers at the grocery and I couldn't find a vase in the house! Seriously!!! My husband and I grew up in Louisville, and it was the perfect location to walk or bike to the parks..... close to so many great spots, bars, restaurants .... The 3 car garage was full of games...fooze ball, ping pong, etc, and when we were at the house that's where you would find us:). The house felt more like a home in every way:) Thank you Daniel, again, and we look forward to returning and you hosting us again!

Bachelor Party

Property was in a great location for a bachelor party. Walking distance to multiple venues, and only a quick ride to downtown. Host was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Great location, excellent space, welcoming host

We were thrilled with our stay! The house is huge and has excellent detailing. We spent so much time playing games in the garage, which was definitely the star. Can’t recommend it enough!!!

We LOVED our stay

The property owner greeted us upon arrival and provided us a tour of the house and gave us tips on things to do in town for food and entertainment. He was awesome! The place is incredible and very comfortably slept the 11 of us with room to spare. The garage was a fun place for all of us with pop-a-shot, ping pong and darts. The town of St. Matthews was perfect with everything within walking distance of the house (restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc). I would highly recommend this house for your family.

Beautiful Large House

This location is my favorite location in Louisville. It is in St Matthews, probably the safest area in Louisville. The house was beautiful and having 8 bedrooms with 3 living rooms allowed everyone to not feel like they were on top of each other. There were a ton of restaurants and bars in walking distance, as well as a liquor store and gas station. The 3 car garage stocked with games and a huge TV was great for entertaining and the courtyard is completely private. This place was great.
