Sunset House located on Little St Germain Lake

The Sunset House is a large home with plenty of afternoon sun. Located on East Bay of Little St. Germain Lake, it faces west with beautiful sunset views.

The Sunset House is a split-level home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with a tub/ shower, a kitchen and an open living/ dining area with a large window overlooking the yard and lake. The bedrooms have 1 queen bed and 3 twins. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher.

The lower level has 2 more bedrooms; one with a queen and a twin, the other with a queen and 2 twins. There is also a bathroom with a shower, plus a family room area, and a second TV and DVD player.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately due to rain one of the downstairs bedroom carpet was soaked. Nothing could be put on the floor and all the duffel bags had to be stored in the family room. It took 2-1/2 days to dry and get rid of the smell. Also, the couch down stairs is not a sleeper sofa as indicated which left us one bed short...which is why the 4 stars. We love the location and have been coming for several years.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean when we arrived and it was big enough for our family. However, it is very outdated. Everything is very dark, kitchen items worn and not in the best shape, some of the mattresses are terrible. We have stayed here before and thought to give it another chance but after sleeping horribly for the week we will look elsewhere. The best thing about Sunset House is the yard and water frontage. I just hope updates can be done.

Jessica the property manager was wonderful, she immediately moved us to another property on the same lake for our last night. We will be back!
