Peaceful paradise on Lake Murray

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You will feel miles away from the busy world, but only a short drive to downtown Columbia . Just 25 minutes to the Gamecock stadium. Make yourself at home and recharge with amazing views and the quiet sounds of nature! Great lounging areas for the whole family and plenty of beds . The lake is perfection and the sun is always shining ! There is a brand new dock and easy lake-entry ladder for the 2026 season .
The space.
The house has two great lounging areas . A large den with sectional in the lower part, and another den in the upper part . 5 full bedrooms with 3 full baths . There is a set of bunk beds off the kitchen . There isn’t a door, but great place for kids to have their own space, but still be close . There is an enclosed porch with ping pong table and great views of the lake . Great fire pit with chairs for enjoying the night and roasting s’mores .

What a beautiful view. We had a large group and this was a great place for all of us. The host responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked - very helpful at Thanksgiving. Ample parking too! Two kings beds!

This home was absolutely beautiful!! Very spacious for our group of 8 adults. The lake was wonderful and having the use of kayaks was a plus. I highly recommend for any family gathering!! We’d book again if we travel to that area in the future!!

My family enjoyed a long weekend here to celebrate my son’s Univ of SC graduation. The home was very comfortable, the view was wonderful, and the location great on the lake!! Hope to be back in the fall.

Lovely family gathering!

Great time with family! Very welcoming and comfortable with plenty of amenities. We loved the back porch and hanging out on the dock. Hope we can return in the future and would recommend!

This was a great setting for a multigenerational family vacation. Kids, parents and grandparents had fun. The house was accommodating with plenty of sleeping spaces, a well equipped kitchen, and water fun "toys" (kayaks, fishing poles). Check-in was easy, Wi-Fi access was good and the panoramic lake view was spectacular from the porch. We also appreciated the promptness of our host's responses to our questions.

Peaceful getaway for family

We had a lovely stay at the lake with our large mix of family of both little kids and adults. It was the perfect space to get away but be close enough to the city of Columbia. Everything was easy, and the property and home was clean and well taken care of. It felt as though it was truly a home away from home. The backyard and beautiful view were a perfect addition to our time there as well! Would stay here again!

What a great place to stay with lots of family, and right on the water. We were able to enjoy plenty of seating both inside and out on the deck. Had weather permitted, we would have enjoyed roasting marshmallows over a fire. Convenient, quiet, beautiful, and spacious.

Wedding Week

We were in town for my son's wedding and this house was PERFECT for our family. Great open floorplan was perfect for socializing and the multiple seating areas were great! That part of the lake is peaceful and serene. The outdoor seating options were ideal as well. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was spotless. Serene and beautiful get-away

This property is wonderful in every way. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Lake access is only steps away and there is plenty of good quality outdoor seating. The home is spacious and tasteful, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for a group. The homeowner is friendly and generous with equipment such as fishing gear and kayaks. My group hopes to return again next year!

River Rat - Memorial Day

We couldn’t have asked for more! The host was super accommodating and the house was amazing. Having access to our own boat ramp and dock was perfect. The house is located in a cove that makes loading and unloading easy. The house was well stocked with all we needed. Our group of 9 had more than enough room and everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. 5 Star stay for sure!!

10 STARS on Lake Murray !!

Beautiful spacious house on the lake ..! We had 13 and no one felt crowded . The house was so comfortable, stocked with all cooking pans , utensils , dishware etc 
 full spice cabinet . The couches are so comfy and TVs is you want them .. 4 baths with toiletries to get you started until you make a grocery run at the store(s) nearby 
 AND the VIEW off the dock !!!! WOW !!!! You will never want to leave this place !!!! Thank you Emily & family for sharing your beautiful lake house with us ❀❀❀

The area is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, but also very close to fun activities! Less than 5 minutes to the local ice rink and trampoline park . Also super close to hiking and biking areas.

There is a brand new dock for the 2026 season . Just completed ! We have added a large ladder for lake entry . Very accessible for elderly adults or those with moderate mobility concerns .
