This property was amazing! Right on the water, great views of the bay. Waking up every morning to waves crashing was so peaceful. The owner communicated so well and was very pleasant to work with! It was a great stay. We loved it!

Our family had a fantastic time at Andrew’s place. The house was perfect for me and my family, the place was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Started every morning with a cup of coffee on the lanai with the perfect sunrises! Andrew was responsive and very attentive.

Kuai Rainbows

Very relaxing with all the items you need to have fun at the beach. Great location with very little air traffic noise but still close to the airport. Elevator to the beach is very convenient.

We had a great stay with our adult children. The unit was clean, well stocked and spacious. The view from the balcony is lovely and we enjoyed spending time out there taking in the sun and listening to the waves. There is an elevator which takes you down to a beautiful beach with nice sand and calm waters. The location is great as there are many shop, restaurants and lots of activities to do in the area some with in walking distance. The owner and property manager were both very quick to respond and have thought of everything you could need including beach supplies, dishes, high end appliances, ice maker, pots and pans etc. The only thing missing is a BBQ (we ate out every evening so wouldn’t have used it anyway). There are several different levels with a couple of steps and the host has motion sensor night lights in those areas which helps a lot to eliminate trips and falls. The shower in the master bedroom is a little intimidating at first as there are windows in it but no one can see in and the 2 shower heads gives you a awesome shower! The loft is a nice space with 3 twins and a trundle beds but the ladder to the loft makes it a little tricky to take luggage up and would not be real safe for younger children. We had lots of space for 6 adults and played cards in the evening and enjoyed a lot of family time in this lovely rental.

Kauai (near Lihue airport)

Location is amazing. Initially given incorrect code at arrival but property manager was available via phone and had immediate fix. Would be 5 star rating but listing clearly indicated a hot tub and this was not true. When I asked the host I was told I must be confused and there was a whirlpool tub in the MB vs a hot tub which was also not the case, simple bathtub.

Hi Dale. When we checked the listing, it didn’t list that there was a hot tub, it listed a whirlpool tub which was by accident. This mistake on VRBO was not on purpose and has been corrected. Have a good day.

My wife, our kids, and I are from the San Francisco Bay Area and have been coming to the islands for over 30 years. We were very blessed to buy our home in Kauai about 4 years ago, and we love hosting and taking care of the house. We are avid travelers and have made a great group of friends in Kauai. Every time we return, it's like coming home.

We enjoy hiking and cooking from our beautiful kitchen, and I spent most of my spare time in the water below the house, bodyboarding.

The Pali Kai neighborhood is tranquil, near everything we could ever want, and is one of the most serene and peaceful places we have ever lived. Our community has a private gate which keeps it even quieter, and we still remember the first time that we drove up, as we passed through the forest of trees from the Timbers resort, and how, when we parked, we walked down the street and had lunch on the ground, overlooking the lighthouse.

Our home is Kauai. It isn't a normal Airbnb that looks like an apartment or that has a basic style; it's Hawaiian. We have a beautiful dining table made from local trees. You can hear the gentle waves from our master bedroom as you are lulled to sleep, and the room is perfectly sized. At about 2300 square feet, everyone has plenty of room to enjoy alone time, gather together on the wrap-around and private lanai, or watch a movie on the TV in our family room. Our home is designed so that when you walk in, you can see Kalapaki Bay immediately. We have windows everywhere, and your first view and impression of the house will be one of amazement. We love our home, and you will love it too.
