As seen on the Travel Channel! An authentic 120 year old log cabin and grist mill directly between a trout stream and a catch and release pond! You can relax on the 3 level acres. This cabin offers all the comforts of home with 2 electric fireplaces including the upstairs master bedroom, hot tub with cafe lights under a gazebo steps from the creek, charcoal grill, smart TV, Xfinity wifi. Rockers on the front+back porches. Easy access, no mountain roads! Come enjoy the quaint solitude of East Gatlinburg.



Important: The cleared area near the mill (where the old shed was) is currently off-limits to guests while we finish setting up proper barriers. Kindly avoid walking down or accessing that section during your stay.

Relaxing, everything we hoped for. Its a humble cabin, not filled with upper class comforts. That's not saying it is not wonderful. Very rustic, on the river, seen wildlife. Comfortable bed, 2 decks but we spent most the time on the lower one. Location is far enough from all the entertainment you could desire but secluded enough to feel far away. We would go back in a minute. Go with it in mind that it is an over one hundred year old mill converted to a cabin and you will love it!

The cabin was so cozy, clean and quiet! We had a wonderful stay enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all around us. The hot tub was relaxing and just what we needed.

The stream is extremely relaxing. To sit on the back porch and have your morning coffee was wonderful. We went in mid-June and the fireflies were out every evening and in abundance. For a born and raised city boy, it was exciting and very enjoyable to see them. The private hot tub was a great evening activity that helped us sleep. We will definitely be going back!

Loved it — had to do a bit of cleaning in the kitchenYard was overgrown and definitely need a new mattress. Over all it was fine and easy to find — It served our purpose. The sound of the water sitting on the deck was wonderful!

The cabin was nice only thing that is rough on older peoples knees is the hike upstairs when you gotta use the restroom not their fault it was in the listing I did not think it was a big deal until i made about 59 trips. Thank you for a wonderful stay

FIRST Impressions are everything… upon driving up to the property we saw that the grounds severely needed attention. There is a pond that shows on the property, but what you don’t see is a unstable fence around the pond a picnic table that had grass grown all around it Entering the property, I felt it was a bit outdated however, the property was very clean very well stocked with all the kitchen essentials.The upstairs bedroom had a stench of smoke possibly from the fireplace.

We had an incredible trip to Gatlinburg and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The location was absolutely perfect- right on a beautiful river where you could hear the water flowing from the deck. It made mornings especially peaceful with coffee in hand and that relaxing backdrop. The setting really gave us that true mountain getaway feel while still being close to everything we wanted to do.The property itself exceeded expectations. It was spotless when we arrived, and you could tell a lot of care goes into maintaining it. The host was fantastic as well-communication was quick, clear, and helpful from start to finish, which made everything seamless. Overall, it was one of those stays where everything just clicks, and we truly felt comfortable the entire time. We would absolutely come back again without hesitation.

The property is not what we were expecting with the reviews it had....I can't really explain them, and won't try....its a 2 star property at best. The fishing pond is completely dead, do not book because of it, its dead. Property is clean, but old and run down inside. Not even a coffee station, i am used to all the things to make a coffee at least, or some bottled water in the fridge....it cost 4 dollars. Not much to ask. Place had a little smell, bought some fabreeze. Had two portable air conditioners...that kept it cool, i was fine with the noise. Its not somewhere you pull up and get excited, you get let down....if you dont believe me. Fine. Then book it, I dare you. 4 towels for 2 people for 4 days. They had a beautiful spot to kept extra towels, but no, just a smelly old stuffed animal. Maybe I can dry myself with that. Light bulb burned out and a dollar stuffed by the switch. It was like they were saying: here you go, you buy a light bulb. Like I said, dont believe me, book it, I dare you.

Future Guests: Any feedback we are happy to understand and resolve real-time instead of seeing a list of various comments weeks later. We checkin with a message with every guest on day of arrival to ensure things are ok. Updates: We were updating the shed out back and needed to remove it (it is finished and clean!). This was for safety and aesthetics. We have a new HVAC! Nice and cool. We have a Keurig coffee station! Body towel count for 2 people is standard for our properties. Guest did not mention there are also bathroom hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels. Not sure what guest meant about the light bulb was we keep those around and change them between stays. As far as the guest's fishing ability, we cannot speak for that.

We loved the quiet location of this cabin. My fella enjoyed fishing in the pond and I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck, listening to the sounds of the stream. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Good location. We would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was perfecttttt! I spent every spare minute on the back porch. I could rock and listen to the stream all day!Everything was very clean. Hot tub was great!Host messaged me shortly after arriving to make sure we made it in and had everything that we needed. Just a short distance to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cherokee. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

We love the history of this cabin and the secluded location complete with creek and pond. Just 10-20 minutes to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. East Gatlinburg just down the road from Gatlinburg Downtown in a quiet part where it's easy to access the action yet you dont have to be overwhelmed by it. Easy access to multiple park entrances!
