Enjoy a two bedroom/two bath home in one of the most charming neighborhoods in New Orleans. The unit features hardwood floors, tall ceilings, ample natural light, central air, in-home washer/dryer, and a full kitchen. Other amenities include a back patio and front porch, ideal for socializing with friends and enjoying an afternoon beverage. Located in the historic Irish Channel neighborhood, the house is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and the Garden District.

Great spot for events at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Mardi Gras! Home is located 2.2 miles from the Superdome, and 5.5 blocks from parade routes on St. Charles. One block from the myriad of shops and restaurants on Magazine Street.

We love our guests and listen to their feedback! We recently replaced the sofa and rug in the living room, added new mattresses to both beds, and other touches to make your stay more comfortable. Our back patio has also been completely redone with new pavers, landscaping, outdoor seating, and outdoor dining area.

In one of the best locations in the city, this home is located exactly 1 block off the famous Magazine street. It`s a beautiful neighborhood full of historic homes and a great place for an evening stroll. Parasol`s right down the block is an amazing place to get a drink--the quintessential neighborhood bar. The famous Turkey and the Wolf that serves a `fried bologna sandwich` is 5 blocks away (must try!). Walking distance to other great places such as District Donut, Ruby Slipper, Another Broken Egg, Sucre, The Bulldog Uptown, and Commander`s Palace. You are also a short walk to St. Charles Ave, where you can hop on the streetcar. While there`s no parking included in your stay, there`s plenty of free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, and you can usually find a spot right in front of the house.

You will be able to find free street parking around. We always recommend using ride sharing companies like Uber and Lyft. The city also provides public transportation: streetcar & buses.

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove your makeup. It damages the towel.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100

10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

16. Garbage day is Thursday. Please bring trash can to the curb. Thank you!

17. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.

19. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.

20. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

21. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
