Nice but not “5-star”. The place is spacious, remote, and accommodated our large group — and it is nice enough for sure. But to be fair, it is a bit dated and the outdoor maintenance is iffy. We only had a couple of minor issues, and the owner was responsive, so no complaints there. But this place is expensive and if you’re expecting 5- star accommodations, look elsewhere. If you want a large, reasonably comfortable space to accommodate a lot of people, this is a good option.

Perfect Hill Country Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house looks exactly like the photos. Our host Jaudat iwas amazing. I highly recommend this VRBO Getaway.

Great Business Meeting

We held our Corporate Retreat there and it was perfect. Plenty of room for our discussion group, as well, as plenty of room for people to stay.

We had a wonderful time. Joe was an excellent host, very responsive and accommodating. The house was very spacious and had everything you needed. The heated pool was a great option. The kids enjoyed the pool even with the cooler weather. It stayed at a perfect temperature for us. Clean house and the rooms were perfect to accommodate our groups of 13. Definitely will try to stay here again! I forgot to mention we had an excellent view of the random fireworks show!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hillside Retreat. The area was excellent for our family to enjoy some time away. The house itself accommodated everyone comfortably for our stay, and the proximity to town was an added bonus.

Amazing spring vacation

We had a great stay and the house accommodated all of our needs for our friends and the home was very family friendly. Jay was very responsive to anything we needed and checked in regularly to see if there was anything he could do to help us get acquainted in the wimberley community.

We had a great time with family, including small children. Joe and Zoya were incredibly responsive and helpful in the lead up and during the trip. Would highly recommend.

This is the second business retreat we have had at this location. It is an amazing property and the owners are extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a great experience during our stay at this home. The home was clean, very spacious, and in a great location with an amazing view! The highlight was the pool and the home is perfect if you plan to travel with lots of family and friends. We also had great communication with the property management team throughout our stay. We can't wait to return back for another fun filled weekend.

This is a beautiful spacious property with a great view and location. It is decorated very nicely. The makeup room and the game room were nice additional amenities.

Labor Day Family Fun

Beautiful home with the best view. Enjoyed sunrise and sunset. The pool was amazing and we had a wonderful family trip. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We will be back.

Absolutely stunning

It was everything I had hoped for. The view is gorgeous…Especially the sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the house was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. We will definitely recommend it to all of her friends. Excellent place for a family gathering.

Great Getaway

This was a great getaway spot where close family and friends could join for a fun and relaxing weekend in Wimberly. The house was just as beautiful as the pictures. The owners Joe and Zoya were helpful and very responsive. They were also very thoughtful and kind as I shared I was going for a milestone birthday and they sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed, the game room, the pool and hot tub. Would highly recommend!

Summer Celebration

We stayed in these beautiful accommodations for 5 days and 4 nights. The house and casita were clean and spacious, which was great for our group of 11 adults. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone to spread out and sleep comfortably. The pool was used daily, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the equipment we needed to cook large meals. Joe and Zoya were quick to respond when needed, and the house is situated with easy access to everything you would want to do in Wimberley. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who is looking for space and comfort for their next big vacation.

Memorial Weekend Fun with Family

We had a wonderful time at Hillside Retreat. The view is amazing and the house was big and very comfortable. We had a small issue the first night but the owners responded so fast and took care of the issue. I was surprised and very happy with the quick communication. We will definitely be back. Beautiful get away

We had a group of 14 people including small children and teenagers. This property was absolutely perfect to accommodate all of us and still have our own privacy and space away from each other . The property manager was so helpful and great with communication for our entire stay and leading up to it. We had an issue with the tv at 11pm and it was immediately fixed . We are so appreciative of this trip and the fun we were able to have and share with our close friends. We look forward to returning in the future . Also , the pool was large and heated , plenty of towels provided. Check in was a breeze . Pictures honestly can’t capture the stunning beauty of this property. From the inside of this home to the view from the balcony- gorgeous and so special . This stay was so much more that we had hoped for , thank you for sharing this home !
