Bluebird Day - Hartford Haven

Hartford Haven is nestled among the pines on the desirable Westside of Bend. It is a straight drive to Mount Bachelor. Walk right out the front door and into the heart of Bend. Drake Park, Galveston Street, Historic Downtown, and the Old Mill Shopping District are all just a few blocks away. Enjoy your vacation Bend-style in your home away from home with your entire family.

Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room with a book. Watch your favorite shows or movies on the Apple TV. Cook a homemade meal in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Spend time with your loved ones around the dining room table with seating for (6?). A highchair is provided so your little one can join you as well! 

The master bedroom is on the main level, featuring a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. The master bath has a standing shower, tub and two sinks. If you need time to work, escape to the private office space off the master bedroom outside. The second bedroom upstairs also has a king size bed. The third bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. This third room also features a desk that provides a tidy, quiet workspace. 

No matter the season there is always outdoor adventure! Central Oregon provides skiing, snowboarding, sledding, mountain biking, and plenty to explore.

Adorable place with great sleeping arrangements and cute hang space in an excellent location. Great for me, wife, 2 kids 4 and 6 and MIL. Will stay here again.

Perfect stay for our ski trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The three bedrooms were perfect with the three adults on our trip. The house was really stocked with all the kitchen amenities for cooking every night and the house was so clean. I loved the neighborhood and the ability to walk to so many restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Great location, clean and comfortable

We stayed for the weekend to attend a concert at Hayden Amphitheater. Excellent location as we walked to the venue, local coffee shops and restaurants. Would stay again, hopefully for a longer time.

The house is a beautiful house and a great location and we had a wonderful stay. The only thing I can say is that it could use a few more amenities, but there were just enough.

Beautiful house in Bend

Wonderful house in Bend. Would recommend. Not too far from restaurants and Drake Park. About 18 min walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. The only issue we had was it was a little hot upstairs but we found a fan in the garage which helped. The kitchen had all we needed. And the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. Cant wait to go back.

Location, location, location!

This beautiful home is ideally situated within walking distance to everything we needed and wanted - breweries, restaurants, downtown, tubing - and even a beautiful spa! Furnishings were ideal for our group of six adults, with ample space for all. We highly recommend!

Labor Day leisure

Hartford Haven was exactly that, a haven! Excellent location, extremely comfy beds, TONS of towels, well stocked kitchen appliances, dinnerware, basic spices, staples for baking. Bluebird day rentals was very timely in their responses and super accommodating. Would love to stay here again!

Pleasant stay in a clean, new house in a very accessible location

The location was even better than I expected after researching with maps. There were several breakfast and lunch options within walking distance and a popular river area was also within a 10 minute walk. The property itself was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the presence of camping chairs and the front lawn for tossing a football. We had a nice stay at this property.

Visit with Friends

Met dear friends in Eugene and drove to Bend for 3-day stay. Bluebird Day house was more than we ever expected. Totally perfect house. Anything and everything you could want or need was there. Photos were accurate, beds very comfortable, and kitchen was well-stocked. We’d retirn in a heartbeat!

Great Spot in River West

This was a really great spot to stay if you want to be close to everything in Bend. The place itself was really nice for 6 people. Really comfy beds, roomy main floor and lots of silverware/dishes and kitchen/cooking gadgets. Everything is really close on bikes or walking. The cruiser bikes in the garage were great. There was a pump and lock which was a great touch. Bathrooms were great and well stocked. Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful house, great location

This place exceeded my lofty expectations. Well kept, well stocked. Great layout with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Two notes: upstairs main bedroom can get quite warm (there’s a fan provided) and the second upstairs bedroom with two beds does not have darkening curtains like the other one. Twin bed under slanted roof has a skylight with a light filtering shade on it and it’s nowhere close to dark. Something to keep in mind if that’s an issue.
