Welcome to 6 Acre Retreat, part of the County Curated collection.Visit County Curated to view all of the beautiful properties that we manage in Prince Edward CountyThis home can accommodate 16 adults (age 11+) and 8 children (age 10 and under including infants) as per the property's short term accommodation license.6 Acre Retreat is a sprawling waterfront estate located on beautiful Lake Consecon. This vacation property of over 5,000 sq. ft on 6 acres of land is ideal for large family gatherings and multiple groups. This spacious and comfortable home, is equipped with a pool table, and large common areas perfect for entertaining STA License # ST-2020-0040

A damage deposit hold of $1,000 will be placed on your credit card within 72 hours before check-in.
This hold will be released within 7 business days after a post check-out inspection confirms no damage to the property.

Reservations can be canceled for a full refund up to 30 days before check-in.

Reservations canceled between 30 and 14 days before check-in will forfeit the 50% deposit.

Reservations canceled within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable.

All cancellations made more than 14 days after booking are subject to an administration fee of 4% of the total deposit.

We celebrated a multiple birthday for my husband and 8 of his high school friends.

The house was exactly as shown in the listing and was even bigger than expected. Home was very clean and we were able to find any dishes, pans etc we needed. Our only suggestions are a few more tea towels as only 2 were provided and we noticed that the screened in porch could use a cobweb cleaning both inside and out. Overall we loved it and would book it again.

Amazing Property

Loved everything about the property, super spacious, beds were comfy, lots of room. The lake it a bit of a walk down a hill but definitely worth it once you get down there.

There was lots of residual dust on the overhead fans so we didn’t turn them on in fear of getting it spread all over the place!Also there were a few dirty spots in and around the bathrooms. Some flickering lights and not able to replace them. In the kitchen there were no dessert spoons or measuring cups . The frying pans were not up to par and most cookie sheets were dirty or full of burnt residue! Also, no tea towels or hand towels. Most cutting knives were not sharp and no bread knife!We’ve stayed in this house four times and love the location and the size of the place but when you’re paying top dollar you expect top notch amenities as well!

Family get together

3 days with 13 family members, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, all seniors for annual get together. Relaxing, golf, cycling, winery visits, great sit down meals at the dining room table with enough space to sit all 13 of us very comfortably! Great spots outdoors and in doors to just sit and chat. Excellent extra large screen TV!

Family Vacation

I was generally satisfied with the stay. The house is beautiful but here is what brought my rating down. 1. Given the price per night, check in at 4pm and checkout at 10am takes 6 hours from your stay which doesn’t feel right. 2 I was given the wrong PIN code for the front door lock on checkin. When I arrived it was pouring rain and we had already unloaded half the car. I waiting almost 20 minutes in the rain waiting for the owner to provide the code to the door. 3. I was told I would have access to the garage so I could unload all the cars without getting rained on but the entrance to the garage was locked and I was told the owner had the only key. 4. We tried to hook up an inflatable water splash pad for the kids one day because it was so hot, however none of the valves for the outdoor faucets had been turned on. I was told that a handyman would come the next day. Again for the price per day, you would expect an attempt to get a repairman to come that day especially since we only stayed 4 nights and the following day wasn’t hot 5. I would suggest they get better shower heads in all the bathrooms. For what I would consider a luxury rental, the shower heads were pretty sad. 6. Outdoor access to the lake and dock should be improved. The path is quite steep and it doesn’t look like the trail is maintained very well. There were sever elderly people in our group and I didn’t feel the path to the lake was safe.
