Welcome to Cedar Haven, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! Stay in one of the most picturesque towns in the heart of Door County, Wisconsin. Ephraim is nestled along the scenic shores that overlook Eagle Bay and is one of the most sought-after locations to stay on the Peninsula.



The Space:

This perfectly located condo is just a block from the waterfront where you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets and stunning views. We are a short walk to restaurants, coffee and wine shops, the famous Wilson’s Ice Cream Parlor, and so much more. It’s our wonderful happy place and we hope you love your stay!



If you are looking for a nearby location to stay with another family or more guests, we have “Ephraim’s Pearl" (sleeps 4, in same building).

The Neighborhood:

This condo is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.



Other Things to Note:

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:

- Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)

- A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.

- PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Our stay at Ephraim Guest House was lovely! Plenty of room for the two of us and an easy walk to things in town. Everything was communicated clearly and we had no trouble with check in or check out. Cleanup guidelines for check out were reasonable and only took a few minutes. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ephraim Guest House. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. It was walking distance to most things we wanted to do in Ephraim. The place was clean and as advertised. The tv's had an excellent selection of channels for anyone wanting to watch sports, and the Wifi coverage was adequate. There was plenty of free parking available. The price was reasonable for the going market rate in the area. We had no issues at all with this stay. I would definitely consider booking here again.

It was a very clean place and a nice location. If you are looking for nightlife, there really is not any. But it’s a seven minute drive to either sister Bay or Fish Creek so if you want a quiet place to stay, this will be perfect for you.

The location is great. We had a 2-night stay. The condo is very poorly maintained… meaning the linens & towels are old mismatched, worn & discolored, the pillows are old, and disgustingly there was an orange earplug in one of the pillow shams. When I reported this to the property manager they apologized but haven’t offered any compensation. I sent pictures, including showing the dust on the backs of the kitchen chairs. The carpet doesn’t appear to have a deep vacuum any time recently. The “soaking” tub appeared to be original, so it’s many decades old. Kitchen & bathroom floor was clean. Paper products were plentiful. Very disappointed I booked this condo and I would never stay there again or book with that property company. However, Door County is lovely, Ephraim is fabulous location. Parking was easy. I did not see laundry anywhere.

Great location for a small family

This property was in the perfect location for our weekend stay in Door County. The check in process was very easy and the property was clean. Given what we paid I hoped we would have a few less responsibilities at check out and a slightly upgraded absorbency level when it comes to toilet paper ☺️, but overall a good experience.

Fall getaway

Perfect location to enjoy the town of Ephraim. Great Air Conditioning which was much needed. Parking situation was great. The only issue was not having ice available. No ice maker or ice trays in the refrigerator.

Overall the property met our needs. Location was great and easy to find. We went in the fall so we didn’t utilize the outdoor amenities but they looked nice. The only suggestion I would make would be to tweak the communication about the rules related to the property. While I understand the need to establish clear communication it came across as not very welcoming.

Mattresses need to be replaced. Both sink and are too soft ! Uncomfortable ! Clean but costly ! Quite a list of things expected of guests at end of stay.

Good spot in the heart of Ephraim

This was a great location and a very nice, clean little condo with charming decor and everything you need in a kitchen. We were able to walk everywhere easily and really enjoyed our time there. Three things to mention: 1) our security code stopped working after the first day so we had to call for help but that was quickly rectified. 2) it was a bit tricky to find as the VRBO listing calls the complex something different than what is on the actual sign outside the building and 3) the instructions noted to put dirty laundry next to the washing machine and there is not one in this unit.
